Watch Hard Knocks Episode 1 Online!
If you're one of those non HBO types or you just want to watch it again...here it is:

I enjoyed it but I agree with Grizz...they could have done a better job picking a few of the storylines. Two of the guys that they featured have about as much of a chance of making the final roster as my 7 year old but hey ANY show that has guys running around with stars on helmets is a good show in my book.

It's only one episode
The first episode is about laying the groundwork for the series, they’ll cover other aspects of the well known players.
A couple of storylines were about the younger brother of an established middle linebacker Ray Lewis, Lattimore was undrafted and HBO was laying out what’s in store for these types of players as they head into camp and have to take every opportunity of the few reps they get.
The other point was that this team has only two players with superbowl rings on the roster, Brad Johnson and a unknown receiver, todd lober, pointing out the fact how far this team has been away from a superbowl appearance.
Those type of stories is what makes football, I dont need to hear about T.O or Romo, there stories are well known and have been talked about endlessly. What make it interesting is the grind of training camp, the first and second year players, the different backgrounds, the personallities and the mental part of the game and how all these parts fit have to fit abd gel to make a team. HBO always does a great job with their sports programming, especially hard knocks series, and one of the best on the show, is the narrator, I cant think of his name right off, but his voice is perfect for telling the story of hard knocks.
i liked when the announcer..
..w/ his deep voice said something like.. “Other rookies have trouble make the next step..” and then a rookie tripped on the steps..CRACKED ME UP!
