why is it disapointing
Dallas always plays a horrible first preseason game. Its the first time for real hitting and the young players are so jacked, theyr’re making some mistakes. The coaches can go through and show them where the mistakes are made in their film review. Next week they’ll be alot better and even better the next week. The score is irrelevant

My evaluation
!st teams looked great
Felix was awesome
choice has run great
Miles austin is looking good
scandrick and jenkins looked good
Pacman…errr…Adam jones needs to keep working
carp looked pretty good
Zack thomas was all over the place making tackles
special teams were aweful,B johnson sucks….
pass interference calls made this look like a blowout
overall I liked what we’ve done….i’m encouraged for our 1st preseason game

It has been great blogging again
During an actual game again.I got my tickets this week for the opener in cleveland.we have some work to do between now and then…but I can’t wait! Great to see some cowboys football though!

My quick assessment
I’m sure I’ve left plenty out, but this is what stands out for me…
UP
Tank – right out of the gate he was showing his quickness off the ball
Zach – what we expected, near the ball, making tackles
Felix – We saw what we’ve been hearing about, especially in two big plays, and he did well in pass blocking
Choice – also impressed with running and blocking, TD
Carpenter, Scandrick & Jenkins – in good position to make some plays
Miles – aggressive catches and running after
Bartel – looked pretty decent, TD drive
Cricket – As much as he celebrated a TC TD, he must be stoked to get a preseason one!
DOWN
Amendola – fumbled punt return
Brad – uninspiring, weak, interception
Reserve O-line – looked porous
Coleman – Muffed a kickoff and didn’t impress on runs or returns
Coverage units – is place for trying guys out, but repeated mistakes lead to questions of coaching
