Timmy Mac misquotes Pacman
On Monday, Tim McMahon posted on the DMN blog that when asked about McNabb's passing stats from Sunday, Adam Jones responded:
"They played the Rams, dude."
And today he cites the quotation again.
But listen to the actual interview for yourself.
It is quite clear, here's what Jones actually said:
"It's going to be a big challenge, but you know, they played the Rams, they didn't play the Cowboys, so we'll do what we have to do, and we're going to show up, so we'll see what happens Monday night."
Not a huge difference, but he never said "dude," and It doesn't quite come across the same way as McMahon made it sound.
Do the media really need to misquote a player and make up bulletin board material for the Eagles?

Shoddy journalism at it's best
They don’t call him Timmy Tabloid for nothing. Even though Albert Breer was a Patriots homer, at least he put up actual football posts.

I believe he should be fired for that blantant misquote
inexcusable…
A true diehard Cowboys fan since 1975.
"If you don’t take him off the field as a coach, he will just about die out there," Jerry Jones said. "That impacted my decision. It’s a Michael Irvin-type work ethic. That’s what we are talking about with Felix Jones."
