Around SBN: Steve McNair Found Shot to Death

NBC Sports blogger breakdown

Our very own Grizz (Dave Halprin) was invited to join in on a discussion about the upcoming game against the Packers.

His fellow bloggers? None other than Cris Collinsworth, Jerome Bettis, Tiki Barber and Dan Patrick.

Grizz comes off

Grizz

… put those so-called “experts” to shame. Way to show them how it’s done, Dave.

Making it look easy.

Keep doing what you been doing, keep getting what you been getting.

Very cool

Great job Grizz, and congratulations.

Well done, Grizz

I really like this line:

Even though it’s Rodgers replacing Favre in Green Bay, Tony Romo is the true heir to Favre’s legacy.

Everyone instinctively knows it, but their Cowboy hatred blinds them from admitting it!

WOW!

Congrats Grizz! It’s pretty cool to be a part of the best football blog out there, respected enough to communicate with the big wigs.

So… does this mean I’m 4 steps away (virtually) from John Madden? Me→Grizz→Collinsworth→Madden

Wow.

Impressive, Grizz

But you most definitely deserve the honor after all the time and effort you put forth into creating, maintaining, and enhancing BTB nation.

Way to represent…

Nice job Grizz, er excuse me Mr Dave Halprin

You gave the most informative responses of the bunch, by far.

Cris Collinsworth sucks in this format. He’s annoying on air, and I’m not shocked he isn’t any good at writing either.

Tiki Barber actually had the best comment out of the rest of the participants.

Does the check say NBC or GE, or do they pay you in light bulbs and a few seasons of The Office on DVD.

Great Job

Should be another great game but i wonder if Dallas has enough energy for back to back NFC Supremacy games?

T-H and B-Dog

Since most likely Grizz won’t deal directly to the masses anymore, are you guys going to be like his entourage?

you've finally made it big time Grizz, congrats!

Although I have to say, I liked Collinsworth analysis of Romo much better than yours, lol!

please

don’t abandon BTB once you hit the big time! hey can anyone here sign grizz to a 3 year extension with some upfront money? put the franchise tag on him?

awesome opp and great job with your analysis – congrats!

Well done, Grizz

Congrats and way to carry the load! You brought the analysis there and left the “seasoning” to the pros.

Nice job, bossman

As opposed to guys like Collinsworth, you were definitely NOT mailing it in…

So I’m guessing by your prediction for the final score that we won’t be playing much defense again this week?

By the way...

Did I mention how much I like these call-out stories on the main page? Gives the site a nice graphical touch and makes those articles stand out better against everything else…

Thanks for the props guys, truly appreciated

But I would be remiss if I didn’t take this opportunity to boast of my new-found status.
