Madden '09 simulation GB vs. Dallas
A preview of the NFC championship? Could be as these two teams have started hotter than just about anyone else in the league, and this game went down to the final minute before it was decided.
The Packers jumped out to a 14-0 first quarter lead thanks to two Aaron Rogers touchdown passes, but Dallas stormed back in the second quarter as Tony Romo threw two touchdowns of his own.
After trading field goals, Dallas trailed 23-17 late in the fourth until Tony Romo hit Terrell Owens with an 11-yard touchdown for the win with only 1:20 left on the clock. Definitely the game of the week.

I love Madden simulations, but.....
No way does Bennett get 8 receptions ;) haha.. They barely ever put him on the field.
I use him a lot on Madden though also. He is a great receiver in the game!

Blah...
It’s comforting, but really? Witten has ZERO catches? Barber has ZERO td’s? And less than 200 passing yards for Romo? Those are some decent first half numbers I guess haha. It’ll be a sick game. Dallas gets their first W in the not-so-frozen tundra…

Garbage
That sim has witten with no and none for austin, and felix almost outrushes barber. No way. And as much as i love Romo, i dont see him only missing one pass and not throwing a pick. But the cowboys win so thats the important part.
Actually
The madden simulation was pretty darn accurate last year as far as the cowboys were concerned. That is on wins/losses not on individual stats. Hell if you were to tell me that Romo only has 200 yards passing….I’d say we lose!
But I remember checking them out last year….the stats are never close but the scores were pretty accurate. I remember a few games where Madden Sim almost correctly predicted the final score!
Glad they had us winning!

I thought about it -- and Witten must have gotten injured early in that game!
That’s the only explanation for why they have MB catching so many passes instead of Witten. He probably went down on the 1st play or something.
I could see Felix Jones outrushing Barber easily sometime if they give him an equal # of touches and he breaks a long one like he did on that kick return.
