Best Young QB.
So i went out to the other four blogs (Steelers, Broncos, Giants, and Chargers) that Scouts Inc included in their young QB discussion and posed the question to all of them. The majority of the bloggs of course put their guy first, which I guess as a fan makes sense. My thoughts were Big Ben, Romo, Cutler, Eli and Rivers. But i would like you to check out the UNBELIEVALBE ignorance of the bronco's blog. It was pretty rediculous of their thoughts. I wasnt trying to go over anywhere and talk crap about their QB, for even being a ROMO fan, i but Big Ben first. But the talk that Romo has had the worst of the 5 as in the starts to this year just made me completely laugh!! Check it out.

Those guys homer tinted glasses are making them sound like complete idiots
They totally did not read your post at all, it seems like they all just immediately went and said Cutler was the best. I am in agreement with you about the order of the QB’s and have a lot of respect for the play of Cutler, but to say he is the best right now is ridiculous. He doesn’t even have a winning record as a starting QB. And one guy even said that he has watched every snap this season and that Romo is by far the worst out of the bunch. I know the air is thin up there, but I didn’t think that is was that thin. Whatever, it’s not even worth me wasting my time trying to talk to sense to those idiots.

Don't read that post
It will just piss you off and make you want to remind them that Cutler fumbled on the game winning drive, and that the refs gave that game to them.
What a bunch of total wankers on that blog.

As a member there, I have to say you are over reacting just a bit. No one actually insulted anyone, let alone said your quarterback stunk. Of course homers pick their own boy, and he (Cutler) is doing much better than anyone other than the homers ever predicted. As “America’s Team” you have to expect that others will perhaps have a stronger opinion about you than the other teams, and that has been true ever since I started watching them in the 70’s. With all the hype about the Cowboys in general, and given the fact that both your roster and your QB are loaded with talent, most other fans will bag on you, because it is only natural to think “Man, what could my team have done with all those stars”… Regardless… you will find very few who think we are “Ignorant and idiots” as you put it, other than a few of our Raider and Charger buddies, which is understandable. All we ever did to you was say that perhaps Romo wasn’t the best of the best… and walk over your first string line-up in the preseason… but come on, it was the preseason!
Some of us picked Romo 5th best…. but even the experts only put him 4th, not a big enough difference to start name calling over.

MHR post
Hello thad728, DC_Fan, and APerfectStar:
My post stated:
****************************************************
QB comparison
Cutler has 3 years in the league. The other QBs on the list have 5-6 years in the league. I will eliminate Cutler from the choice because of BIAS and 2-3 years less experience. That said:
1) I would choose Ben first (Still very good after taking a motorcycle face-plant, respected by team, size to fight off D)
2) Romo (Very good stats. Has the normally me-me TO backing him. Shows good team leadership.)
3) Phillis (Tough. Has team respect. Low physical skills, unfortunately runs mouth)
4) Eli (Seems more of a game manager than an elite QB)
Didn’t Shanahan say he looked into getting Romo?
********************************************************
Thad:
FYI, I checked the other sites in regards to your post:
Steelers had 6 comments
Broncos had 43 comments
Giants had 7 comments
Chargers had 10 posts
In response to your ignorant claim: I do not feel my comments should give me the title of ignorant. I even took Cutler out of the equation to make a more level “playing field”.
DC Fan:
I don’t think rating Romo that high should attract the title of “complete idiot”. Perhaps you can enlighten me as to how low I should rank Romo to avoid such a title.
Mr APerfectStar:
I do not appreciate the term you used to refer to all MHR members : (From Wiki) Wanker literally means “one who wanks (masturbates)”. It is normally intended as a general insult rather than as an accusation. It conveys contempt, not commentary on sexual habits. Wanker has similar meanings and overtones to American pejoratives like jerk,1 jerk-off, and prick. One particular connotation is of someone self-obsessed or a show-off (usually male).2 The term wanker originated from British slang in the 1940s, based on the verb wank.3
I flagged your comment a inappropriate!
I have quite a few friends who are Dallas Cowboy fans. They have treated me with respect (Event though they mention the Dallas Super Bowl victory over the Broncos early and often). I also have a great deal of respect for the Wade (Coach of the Dallas Cowboys and former coach of the Broncos). Also, the Dallas cheerleaders are attractive.
I wish the Dallas Cowboys success (unless they play the Broncos).

Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to come over and post
You certainly went to great lengths to explain the term wanker. I think everyone knows what it means.
I wasn’t calling all your MHR members total wankers, just a few on the thread that had displayed hatred towards the Cowboys and disrespect to Romo. I’d also remind you that I didn’t post anything on your Broncos blog, so you flag anything you want as inappropriate. I’ll return the favor. Your post is now flagged as trolling.

LOL… I guess you weren’t comfortable leaving your post as it was, or somebody might have flagged it as “trolling” as well. Timely edit… but I just went back to double-check…. there was no hatred towards the cowboys, and really no disrespect for Romo… just people who think he hasn’t shown much in the playoffs, and a few of whom ranked him ONE SPOT lower than the experts did. Most who ranked him lower were still appreciative of his talent or athleticism, and in fact, many ranked him higher than the experts did. Wankers, obviously.
OH, BTW… if your going to edit after the fact, you might want to jump up to your first post, where you did indeed call us: “a bunch of total wankers on that blog.”

I don't post on other teams blogs
But you and your buddy are kind of proving my point. (Which I didn’t edit, but I did clarify.) Who gets upset about a mild remark on another team’s blog and actually flags it? It’s laughable.
Congrats on the Broncos win today. Good luck the rest of the season.

Well Thad and APerfect Star, where I would have gently rooted against the Cowboys all season in a mild reaction to your “America’s Team” billing, and because I Lived in TX 2 years and hated it… (OK, it was Lubbock and shouldn’t count against you, but man, you really should have done something about Lubbock by now.) Now I will with a slight sense of distaste slightly root for the boys, in the hope that we eventually meet in the SB.
Blogging the Boys needs more posters like BoyzRback, a little perspective never hurt anyone. (no offense, but maybe the blog just needs members period, this topic isn’t even on our front page anymore.)
Good luck with your season… and BTW, Our thoughts and prayers are with the folks hit by the hurricane, I certainly wish the best for them.
