Dallas Cowboys news & notes
I'll be doing DCFanatic's show at 3 PM EST today (about 15 minutes from now). Tune in if you can.
Kyle Kosier came up a little lame at the end of the game.
LG Kyle Kosier's left foot was stiff and sore last night. He played well last night, especially in the running game, but he might have come back too early after suffering a sprain and hairline fracture in the foot Aug. 22.
Kosier wore a protective boot on his left foot when he arrived at the Cowboys' Valley Ranch facility. He walked into Blue Star Imaging, the office connected to the facility where the Cowboys get MRIs done.
Guess we'll find out a little more from Wade's presser today.
Good article detailing the Packers defensive game plan. Basically, they wanted to take away Owens and Witten. Guess they forgot about Marion Barber.
"He's real patient, but he's explosive," defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins said of the 6-foot, 225-pound Barber. "He's a guy who can wait and pick his holes and then really explode with force. It makes it tough if you don't have the right angle or you don't tackle him right. He'll break it or he'll run away from it."
Nice article from Matt Mosley on the game.

Regarding Packers' Defensive Game Plan
That’s why Red Ball is so valuable to our Cowboys.
And that’s why I give props to King Jerry for giving Jason a HUGE NEW CONTRACT to stay here in Dallas.
Plus, it helps to have an elite QB, multiple weapons in the Offensive arsenal, AND an outstanding O-line!

I agree completely
I was thinking that during the Eagles game – that I was tired of Reid and Johnson outcoaching and out-adjusting Dallas every game. Finally they don’t because Dallas has excellent coaching too.

MB3 is explosive
his “speed” is not great, but if you look at his vertical and long jump from the combine, they are on par with or better than Adrian Peterson’s numbers.

No prob
That is why he finishes his runs so well and hits the hole so hard, because he has so much power in those legs of his.

Did you say power? Watch this MBIII Vid...
Check out MBIII’s workout. See those guns at :17? That’s a jaw breaking stiff arm waiting to happen…or a crushing blitz pick up….just ask Tyson Smith.

I admit it
I have a total man-crush on MB3. The guy is a beast of a RB, but he’s also dedicated to his craft and smart.
I bet you after the game he wasn’t thinking about his 28 carries for 142 yds 5.1avg and 1TD, he was pissed that he fumbled when the Boys were trying to salt the game away. (Even though it was basically over at that point) So happy to have a dominant running game again.

Amen Brother
it wasn’t coincidence that they sat Crayton and brought in Miles – they needed his wheels to take advantage of the Packers’ defense and he did not disappoint. But they are conservative about bringing guys in. They like to work them in slowly. And so far I can’t complain that the offense is struggling.

does"nt matter
we"ve got the overall balance that you just can’t defend against, teams are finding out stopn T.O is not nearly enough to stop this offense.
I think we got through this game without any major injuries. HOORAY!!

Except Kosier
Although Proctor did a good job, I’m still hoping Holland can get on the field.

Grizz
Has the great post game breakdowns, I am interested to see what affect Tank had on the game. I haven’t seen a whole lot out of him this season.
