Media in Dallas...
For the most part, I think the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and Dallas Morning News have pretty fair and unbiased coverage of the Cowboys..Just because you cover the hometown team doesn't mean your'e a fan.
But certain local radio personalities on ESPN are absolutely clueless. Shocker, right?? Well I was driving home today at about 4 p.m. and I turned on 103.3 to hear Galloway, Estridge and Moseley talking about the Cowboys schedule. What struck me as ridiculous was that Galloway and Estridge both said the Cowboys would lose at Arizona and at Pittsburgh, no questions asked..Without any explanation. Moseley was the only voice of reason, talking about Kurt Warner being a statue and the Cards' defense being terrible. While Moseley may be a homer, he is a very good journalist and he does understand football...
However, it was just funny how Estridge and Galloway just talked, without saying anything educated at all. I know Galloway is all about shock-talk, but he is an idiot...Estridge would later say that Ray Lewis may be the best all-around player in the NFL. Not Ray Lewis of 2000, but TODAY!
Furthermore, the two radio hosts also said the Cowboys would lose at least 3-4 games within the division..So a team that went 4-2 within the division last season and is even better this year is going to 1-4 the rest of the way against the east.. When they've already beaten arguably the 2nd best within the division??
I'm about to graduate from TCU with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and I can tell you that I will never, EVER allow myself to say things to insult the sports intelligence of a city. Especially if I am in a position where people listen to what I have to say..
Rant almost over....Oh and how does Gregg Williams have a job doing anything on the radio...The guy can't speak in complete sentences and he butchers my ears. Also said the Cowboys can't play man because they don't have cover corners...Ok!!!
Thoughts??

Galloway can be an interesting listen
But sometimes he is just totally off base with the statements he makes. Also, when the Cowboys are playing good, he’s a huge fan, loves Romo, etc. But as soon as they stumble, he is the ultimate hater. I don’t get how you can switch back and forth like that. At least pick a side or remain unbiased.
As for the Ticket, I enjoy listening to Bob and Dan and don’t care too much for the Hardline.

Galloway loves to hear himself talk...
and is never afraid to contradiict himself. He’s the same way with the Rangers and the Mavericks. He’s a big fan when they win and their biggest bashers when they lose.
The Red Ball Express will be rolling this year!

They All S*ck
The Ticket and ESPN Radio are both weak.
Sports points are either stupid, as you have written, or outright comical.
Galloway also talks over expert guests all the time…..laughs at his own stupid jokes and wit(he thinks he is witty).
Too much to write about the Ticket, that would take too much of my time and I don’t want to waste it on them.

I like
Steve Czaban from FSR because even though he is a skins fan; he said on monday there is no doubt dallas is one of the best teams if not the best team in the league. He is also does not take himself too seriously and keeps things entertaining.
Ignore the Mainstream Media, EMBRACE THE HATE!!!!

Norm Hitzges and BAD Radio
They are both on The Ticket and they are very good at breaking down actual sports.
The Hardline and the Musers do not claim to be sports gurus. They mix in tons of Maxim guy talk, which I enjoy. Sports, Movies, Music, Pranks, etc. If you are a straight laced guy who does not enjoy humor, I can see how you would hate the Ticket.
If I wanted to hear 100% sports all the time (and I listen all day) I would be bored out of my mind. They would have to resort to breaking down the Tampa Bay Special teams to keep from being redundant.
So...why is John Hart still being paid?
