Romo bashing parody...

It's obvious that when it comes to Romo, people's strong feelings about the Cowboys color their views somewhat. This post is dedicated to them.

Star-divide

1) Romo has never won anything! As opposed to the quarterbacks that I rank higher, like Jay Cutler and Aaron Rodgers.

2) Romo is all stats...like Danny White! I shall forget that the people behind Romo on the career passing efficiency charts...Young, Manning, Warner, Brady, Roethlisburger, and Montana, are a list of MVPs and Hall of Famers.

3) Romo is not a "winner"! Yes, I know I base this on 2 postseason starts, but that's a legit sample size! I'm going to forget that it took Favre and Jim Kelly 5 years of starting to get to the Super Bowl, that it took Young, Aikman, and Elway 4 years, and Peyton Manning 9 years. I will forget that Eli Manning--a total "winner," was 0-2 in his first two playoff starts. Real winners like Brady, Warner, Big Ben, and Montana win Super Bowls within their first two years of starting!

4) Romo is too distracted by his relationship with a buxom blonde! On the other hand, "winners" like Tom Brady are not distracted by relationships with supermodels or fathering children with starlets. Because what is a disctraction for a non-winner like Romo is a non-disctraction for a winner like Tom Brady. And famous good looking girlfriends like Jessica Simpson are a disctraction, but non-famous good-looking girlfriends are not a distraction. At least not for winners, which Tony Romo isn't.

5) Romo smiles too much on the field and homoerotically squirts water on Terrell Owens. Romo needs to publicly yell at his receivers more, as winners like Hall of Famers Dan Marino and Peyton Manning demonstrate. Romo needs to call out T.O. for the locker room cancer that he is, like winner Donovan McNabb so courageously did. And Romo needs to cut the "good guy" act, and spread around town tales of his boorishness, as a winner like Jim Kelly does.

6) If Tony Romo has the bad sense to be photographed outside of the Metroplex one week before a playoff game, that will cause Jacques Reeves to suck in coverage and Anthony Henry to miss a tackle giving Amani Toomer a touchdown. It's a lack of leadership that ricochets throughout the organization. Leaders stay outside of the sights of a camera phone, unlike losers like Tony Romo.

that winner one is really funny

I guess winning regular season games mean absolutely nothing because Romo wins 75% of those games, but those really don’t count because they only determine if you make the playoffs or not, and home advantage and other unimportant stuff like that.

So that means all young QBs who have only played for a few years are all losers because they haven’t won anything yet.

So let me get this straight, you’re automatically a loser until you become a winner, yep that makes sense to me.

Romo does suck

He can’t win a playoff game after starting half a season. Then the loser went and lost another one (single handedly, of course, as he was the only one to suit and play offense, defense, and special teams) after his first full season as a starter. We need Mr. Perfect to come play quarterback. He can throw the ball then run under it and catch it…

I hear ya

How dare Romo fail to block those GMen D linemen and fail to catch his own passes, thats just an utter disgrace and choking at its finest!

I mean if a QB, by himself, can’t win at least one playoff game after only 27 starts, then he’s definitely a loser, no question and certainly deserves all the blame.

Great stuff Sir

It’s funny, because it’s true. From now on, I will simply read this fanpost after some ignoramus bashes Romo. This is a keeper. Kudos.

This is the best response

I’ve ever read regarding Romo’s mistakes and INTs.

Romo is always going to make some mistakes because he’s a player who gambles and tries to make plays even when one doesn’t exist. But if you try to put a harness on him, you will kill the things that make him one of the league’s best quarterbacks. What some of you don’t ever take into account is that Romo has only made 31 career starts, which is not yet two full seasons. He’s going to make some mistakes. But if you remember the play you saw at the quarterback position from 2001 through 2005, then you should be pretty happy with Romo warts and all.

could be..

Carson Palmer
Drew Brees
Jay Cutler
Peyton Manning
E. Manning
Ben R.
Tom Brady

I could see the GM saying they wouldn’t trade one of those guys for Romo..
