Madden 09 Simulation for week 4
The Dallas Cowboys kept their season perfect; moving to 4-0 after defeating their NFC East Division rivals the Washington Redskins 34-14. Without star defensive end Jason Taylor (injury), the Cowboys offensive line was able to give quarterback Tony Romo plenty of time to throw. Romo used that time to great advantage and had a big game, throwing for two touchdowns and rushing for a touchdown to keep the Redskins at bay. While the Redskins defense was able to keep wide receiver Terrell Owens out of the end zone, he was still able to catch 10 passes for 169 yards.
Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell spread the ball around to six different receivers but was only able to find the end zone once. Campbell hit wide receiver Santana Moss streaking down the sideline for a 23-yard strike. Running back Clinton Portis also had a big day, rushing for 145 yards on only 17 carries.

Question
How can I get the job of simming all of these games in Madden for ESPN? What’s that, unpaid internship? Nevermind.
The result sounds about right, but I think the game will be closer. No way Portis has that many yards, and I doubt TO will have 10 receptions.
I have Owens and Portis
in my fantasy league.. So I like this idea though it’d be nice if I could get some scoreage out of it. If the Skins have to score I hope it’s from Portis.
I've decided to not look at any stats from any game until after the Cowboys game.
Last week I had to root for way too many things since I was playing against Mason Crosby and T.O.
Bourn to Run!
Once again, no sign of WITTEN in the stats!
Did he break a leg again in the first 30 seconds this week or what? I don’t get why MB gets all the catches and Witten isn’t showing up in the #‘s at all…. Doesn’t make any sense, as I know the madden people make the rosters for the week very realistic re: who will play in this game, etc

Based on Sunday?
Not often…
