BTB goes mobile

Some of you guys have asked about BTB for your mobile phones. Well, SB Nation has finally created a version of our blogs for mobile phones. So if you want to read BTB on the phone, use http://mobile.bloggingtheboys.com. If you're connecting from a mobile phone we should detect that and automatically send you to the correct version.

Other Saturday leftovers:

I was asked by an author of an upcoming book about the Green Bay Packers if I knew any Cowboys fans who went to the game at Lambeau last week. If you were at the game, send me an email and I'll hook you up with the author who wants to interview you.

I did a couple of Q&A sessions with Redskins blogs this week. One over at Hogs Haven and one at AOL FanhouseSome of my answers are duplicates since I was asked the same questions.

BoDog sent me an email with the following odds on which current undefeated team will be the last to lose a game this year.

Dallas - Even
Denver - 3/2
NY Giants - 5/2
Tennessee - 4/1
Buffalo - 15/2
Baltimore - 10/1

Could the Cowboys go undefeated?

NFL Network has this preview of the Cowboys/Redskins game.

Larry Brown has his preview, here.

In yesterday's press conference Wade said that Tank Johnson should be good to go and Anthony Spencer and Sam Hurd are healthy. More on that, here. He also said that Tony Curtis will have the same role as last week.

I meant to post this yesterday.

I noticed it a couple days ago when I was taking the dog out. Very cool. Just pops up normally when I type in bloggingtheboys.com.

"If you don’t take him off the field as a coach, he will just about die out there," Jerry Jones said. "That impacted my decision. It’s a Michael Irvin-type work ethic. That’s what we are talking about with Felix Jones."

Not enabled yet

But hopefully they are working on it. Apart from that, it’s great.

the Cowboys have the talent to go undefeated

they certainly are just as good if not better than the 2007 Pats. The only team that will beat them are the Cowboys themsleves, if they stay focused each and every game and don’t have an inordinate amount of mistakes in any one game, it could very well happen.

i'm with Terry on this one...This team is better than every other team in this league..

and a better overall roster than the ‘07 Pats…..road games against Philly, Giants, and Steelers should be our only obsticles, and we’re better than all three of those teams. As to grapejoos’s extra pressure scenario….You don’t think being the odds on favorite to win the Super Bowl isn’t already extra pressure ? This team plays loose, and the swagger will only build as the team lambastes every team in it’s path…….After seeing what we got after 3 weeks, I have no doubt this team will only get better as the season continues….There is no doubt we can go undefeated. We limit mistakes, and penalties, and I see it happening …….

Undefeated

I don’t think it will happen, and I actually do not want the team to go 16-0 even if it could. I’d rather them go 13-3 or 14-2 and not have that extra amount of pressure on them. Of course, it’s a little hard to imagine how the team could have more pressure on it.

We’re going to be 1/4 of the way through the season after this week. I’m not even going to think about 16-0 unless the team gets to 12-0 or better.

Re: the author looking for Cowboy fans at Lambeau

He is apparently looking for some specific fans — here is his post on True Blue Fans:

For a book on the Packers season, looking to contact four Cowboys fans – husbands and wives – who flew up from Dallas for their first Lambeau game. Section 113, rows 47/48. Guy in a Witten jersey. Wife in Cowboys Super Bowl sweatshirt, reddish hair. Two rows back of a guy in Aikman jersey. Appreciate any help. Congrats on a great win. Barber/Witten impossible to stop.

Here's your chance to be the voice of the Cowboys nation

Here’s your chance to be the voice of the Cowboys nation

Barry Horn

Author Phil Hanrahan is desperately searching for Cowboys fans from the Dallas area who made last week’s pilgrimage to Lambeau Field.

Seems he’s writing a book called After Brett: A Season in Green Bay.

“I’m interested in impressions of the town, fans, Lambeau, the tailgating scene, and of course the game,” he wrote in an email.

“So far the only Cowboys fan at Lambeau I’ve made contact with happened to be from Wisconsin, of all places. Poor guy got a beer thrown on him for wearing a Witten jersey. Also said a drunk Packer fan head-butted a Cowboy fan at halftime in the restroom. Hopefully some other Cowboys fans had better experiences.”

You can share with Phil at phillhan@att.net
