What happened to running the ball?

Jason Garett has a bad trend that when things aren't going well he seems to favor the pass.  MBIII had 8 carries for 26 yards.  I thought in the first half that the boys were on to something with the run.  He just didn't stick with it.  What happend to getting Felix Jones more involed.  It seemed to me that they were going to throw to T.O. as the first option no matter what.  Yeah Witten had a good game but comon man.  Barber wears you down and slows down the rush.  I gotta give the Skins credit (Man that hurts) they made us play their game.  They wore our guys down.

The thing that I don't get is that things weren't going that bad

I never felt like we were out of the game, so what gives with just completely abandoning the run? And letting MB3 run the ball only 8 times is a travesty. That’s too few carries to even say that we weren’t having any luck running the ball.

Don't Blame Garrett...

It was Romo’s fault. Garrett was asked why they didn’t establish the run and Garrett said Romo changed the running plays to passing. And what does Romo do in these plays? He forces it all game to Owens. And what does Owens do in return? He bashes Romo by saying he was not involved enough in the offense. WOW!!! I guess Owens forgot 20 plays were directed to him.

All Romo did was slap Crayton, Witten, Austin, Barber and Felix in their faces.

I was listening to the Ticket here in Dallas this morning

And they said that we were in the shotgun for 36 of 58 offensive plays. That’s 62% of the offensive snaps. So that means that the other 38% of the snaps could have been called as runs and audibled to passes by Romo, but more likely only half or so were originally called as runs and audible to passes by Romo. That is still a ridiculously unbalanced game called by Garrett.
