Is this the end of the T.O. Romo happy relationship?

Is this the beginning of the end of the Romo T.O. marriage?  I hope not, some of the passes that were thrown weren't on target.  However if somebody is giving you a chance to make a play 20 times including a run, how can you complain.  This looks bad in my opinon.  Jerry gave him another chance when nobody would've I think that this is a straight PUNCH in the face to Jerry.  Hopefully this is just the reaction of a competative player frustrated with a loss.   I just hope that this dosen't start to affect the other players Witten, Crayton (the lost receiver) Barber, etc.  If T.O. does explode (or implode) what are our options things will change if he isn't on the field bye bye 6 in the box so long single coverage for the secondary recievers, and goodbye Superbowl.  Maybe I'm just overreacting and I think I may.  If anyone has anything to say to help me PLEASE DON'T HESITATE.

I have to apologize for writting this post I was pretty mad and wasn't thinking.

Here's what I have to say

Take a deep breath. The team has hit a bump in the road like every team will this season, and like we did last year, and the year before. The team will adapt and correct the issues that caused this loss, or they aren’t ready to be a championship-caliber team. I happen to think that they are one, and they will correct these mistakes.

You are overreacting. The team has to take this loss seriously, but only as an instance where the gameplan didn’t work. It doesn’t mean the whole system is broken.

I must have missed something

I didn’t watch the post game press conference. Did TO, or anybody else, say something about them? If so, can someone tell me what it was?

I love me some T.O....I ain't skeerd!!!!!

17 times they through the ball to him

yeah, I would be upset too….
.
He didn’t get open and ran bad routes. That was the problem with TO yesterday. He looked all of 35 yesterday. Anyone don’t think we should go after Boldin or Roy Williams now?

Have you seen

Give me Roy for a 1st rounder, I think they are trying to move him…

NO Way they trade him to us though.

winners

winners want the ball all the time.
whiners talk to the the press about it
but i’d rather have a whining winer than most guys in the league.

everything will be fine

You know that I’m an eagles fan and that TO left on “bad terms” here in philly. This is how it started with us, a jab here and knock there against McNabb and the organization. The next thing you know, he’s going to be doing crunches on his front lawn.

On a side note, even though you guys lost yesterday, I really liked Miles Austin getting more looks. That there is a receiver with a lot of potential, and with, “unfortunately” TO’s tendency to drop catchable balls, I think you’re much better served leaving him as bait in general and throwing to Austin, Crayton, Witten, and Jones (out of the back field). TO may have field stretching ability, but I think you’re much better suited to using other receivers…
Oh, and running the ball more than 11 times, but you guys already touched on that. You ran the ball on us and even though we held down the yardage it sustained your drives.

The Answer Is...

YES!!!

Romo is not a leader and never will be as long as he feeds Owens’ ego.

Not as long as he lets Owens get to his head, he won’t be one.

TO

everytime something like this happens the “experts” overreact and talk about how TO is going to cause an implosion of the dallas cowboys. everytime they have been wrong…

by cowboyup3181 on Sep 29, 2008 5:42 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

I don't know why TO said he didn't get the ball enough

But I only heard the sound bite they showed on Sportscenter, so I don’t know what they asked him or what context he made that statement in.

I’d just take things players say immediately after a loss as maybe overreacting or more negative than things they might say a few days later after they cool off.

Screw ESPN

I knew they would start bashing us because of 1 game. Typical ESPN they are pieces of sh*t, just about everyone. But we need to stop pleasing TO and forget about everyone else.

It's all in the way that the mediots ask the question

And then they’re able to isolate the sound bite and develop controversy. What I took from his comments, when heard in context, is that when the team loses that he wishes he would have gotten the ball more often. It’s his way of saying that he is confident in himself and his abilities and that he wants to do everything possible to ensure that his team wins. DCfanatic provided a good link on his blog to a Brad Sham radio interview where he addressed the issue that really provided pretty good insight.

TO should get all the balls he wants against the Bengals on Sunday...

However, if the team comes out and forces the ball to him and it’s clear that he is in the head of Romo on every play, this will be something that needs to be addressed by Jerry Jones himself. Sit Terrell down and say, “I paid you $8 million over the next three seasons to help bring a championship to Dallas. You are not above the team and I will not allow you to derail this train.” nuff said.

any little thing

the media is so quick to twist things up, to make it sound like more than what it actually is, especially when it involves the Cowboys. not worried bout it, we"ll be alright.

still holding off on purchasing that authentic TO Cowboys jersey

TO doesn't care about anything but winning

We never hear TO complain about anything until the team loses, and then it’s all about how he didn’t get the ball enough, or the gameplan was wrong, or whatever. Then, the media gets a hold of this junk and blows it way out of proportion. Don’t worry about this junk. It sells papers, gets viewers, adds clicks to the website ,but it doesn’t mean squat. Now I don’t know about you guys, but all I really care about is wins and loses. Does anyone think this team isn’t going to have a winning season? TO will be fine. The Cowboys will be fine. Now perhaps we can concentrate on the Bengals instead of wondering who the Cowboys are playing in Feb.STOP WATCHING ESPN and this bulldung will stop bothering you.
