I think it’d be too bold of a prediction for anyone to say the Browns can outright stop TO. The only thing I can do is hope we stop TO.
If there’s one citation I can take from last season, it’d involve Andre Johnson. In his return game from injury last season, the Browns surprised everyone by holding him to just 3 catches for 37 yards (everyone was projecting him to be a lock for a TD and 100+). In that game, Brandon McDonald had a good amount of the coverage on Johnson.
Likely, the only way we’re stopping TO is not through our coverage, but getting to Romo too quickly. Probably won’t happen…
