Breakdown of Cowboys/Browns Game
ProFootballTalk.com has Ted Sundquist (former GM at Denver) breaking down games this year. His first writeup is on the Cowboys Week 1 game.
It's a pretty interesting read. I always like seeing the perspective of someone that's objective (not that we of this blog aren't objective...ok, maybe we're a tad biased). I tend to think that Cleveland is going to go backward this year, but you never know how the first game of the season is going to go.

one thing I certainly don't agree with
Joe Thomas should lock down Anderson’s blind side
I’m pretty sure D Ware will have something to say about this.

He only gave up one sack all last year, but i expect far from a lockdown…. hopefully.

Joe Thomas
is the same guy that said A Spencer was the toughest guy he had faced in college, right? guess we’ll see what he thinks of D Ware…
And even if D Ware doesn’t “get his” as it were, I would expect that they’ll end up chipping him or doing something else to give Thomas some help. Hopefully that will open things up for the rest of the line to get to the QB.

Not sure...
Dallas’ secondary is going to have to play well or this will be a shootout. And Cleveland is healthier at skill positions than we are. I’ll be very interested to see how we defend Winslow, especially on 3rd downs. These guys throw the rock A LOT!

Brodney Pool not likely to play
I’ll just stick this comment under the breakdown post instead of making a fanshot for it

I Love the Hate
There is only one way to prove the doubters wrong, and that is to put a whoopin on the Browns this sunday!

here's a rundown...
depending on who gets the ball first but it wont really matter, lets say cowboys get it first rink a dink a do…..and there in the end zone…kick off clev. run 1st dn 2yds. pass 2nd dn 4 yrds to winslow…3rd down ellis and tank meet at andersons head….punt …..pace man …nice return 10-20 yrds…..pound barber down there throught like a cheap porno, that will go on for the 1ST qt 1/2 then jones comes in run a fake reverse romo to TO TD cowboys up 21-0 …….cleav.gets ball back starts to worry and thinks they should be throwing more……wade simpitizes with them and breaks out the old buddy ryan 46 and brings the hous on 1 , 2, and punks them out and only rushes 2 on 3rd droping 9 into coverage…..interception taken to the house…..then it’s close to half time so the slow it up to get there sh*t together…..half……………….28-0 dallas then it’s just a case of how bad does clev want to look…..
I don't need a compass to know which way the wind shines....

Heh…even I don’t dream of wins that are that dominant.
