excellent start

great 1st half, except for the penalties. 34-14 is looking like a real good number

Tom Grieve is my hero.

besides the one long drive by Cleveland

the defense has started to show their stuff

I'm Still Worried...

The Browns will come out fighting in the 3rd quarter. And the way our secondary is leaving people open, this is cause for concern. If Edwards catches the ball where he was wide open in the deep middle, it might be a different halftime discussion.

"Well, we didn't block real good but we made up for it by not tackling."

this is about what I expected

great protection, 4 possessions, 3 TDs, Barber goal line, TO over the top… Flo false start

good run defense; they’ve been able to make some plays on our secondary, but we’ve been able to make some stops, Pac near pick6.

by scottmaui on Sep 7, 2008 4:45 PM CDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Agree, but the 2nd half...

could bring a lot more passing and abuse of or DB’s.

the further behind you are, the more one dimensional a team becomes

the line doesn’t have to worry about the run and just pin their ears back and rush the passer.

by Deke on Sep 7, 2008 4:51 PM CDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

If we take the ball right after half,

and score, then they are really going to have any wind taken out of their sails that they might come out with after halftime.

Statement

Scoring a TD on the first possession of the second half would be a statement that they are ready to give it their all this season

Well-played first half by the Cowboys, but this game should be more like 21-14. Too many uncharacteristic drops by Braylon Edwards.
