Cowboys could have key players back for week two
The good news continues for the Cowboys as both Anthony Spencer and Miles Austin are scheduled to practice this week. Also, by all accounts, MB3 will play and Terence Newman intends to play, too.

Great news inideed
I am really intrigued with seeing if Austin can translate his pre-season into regular season success.

Austin.
That would really help if Austin can play this week. You’ve gotta wonder how good he can possibly be feeling. But if he’s ready then that would be a big boost. Although Stanback didnt do half bad as the 3. We’ve really got a lot of good receivers.

Austin should be fine
all we really need from him is to go deep to keep double teams away from T.O. and Witten as well as keep 8 guys out of the box.
We won’t be asking much from him, just like we didn’t ask much from Stanback. With all our weapons, a 3rd wr has a very limited role in this offense.
In Romo we Trust

We didn't even
Get to see what he could do win, Romo was throwing the ball too him..
He could be the player that makes it very tough to double TO.

I've been pumped about Austin since before Training Camp began
And seeing how much he improved through his preseason performance increased the anticipation level that much more.
I’m ready to see him really contribute now.

Oakland
I strongly co-sign on Grizz’s statement on that franchise needing some help. After watching most of last night’s debacle, I’m thoroughly convinced that they’re the dumbest team in the NFL. The Raiders have loads of talent, but their problem is that their loaded with a bunch of headcases and the wrong coaches in place to keep ’em all in check.
What a sorry excuse of an organization they are. That commitment to excellence phrase is a crock of sh**, and I feel for Oakland Raiders fans everywhere. I heard that they’ve won 19 games and lost 63 games (after getting pounded by Denver yesterday) since they lost to Tampa Bay in the Super Bowl back in 2002.
That’s quite a fall.
I’m just glad that The King did his part to right our ship and get us pointed in the right direction…

Al Davis has
debacled them. I think I got that from Emmitt.
