David Carr

Guys,  did you see David Carr this past Sunday?...TOTALLY BEAST!!!  Seriously, he was playing against a good D clawing for a playoff spot and with the backup receivers on the Giants.  Look what happens when he finally plays on a decent team instead of getting ambushed all the time in the OTHER Texas stadium.  I'm pretty sure he's a free agent, not only do our backups suck, but he could push Romo and if he keeps choking our season away like he did vs Pitt, he might have a challenger to the throne!

I'd take him to back up Romo...

I don’t see any challenge there though…

I would rather have Batch backing up next season. Carr isn’t bad but he might want a chance to start next season or at least be involved in a competition for a starting job.

If Carr wanted a chance to start, he wouldn't have went to back up the Super Bowl MVP ???

Carr won’t be starting anywhere ever again…..neither will Losman, Grossman, Leftwich, Boller, Batch, Culpepper, etc…..but i’d sure take one for vet back up……..

Worst Post Ever

With our slow offensive line it would be Drew Bledsoe all over again. It is not as much Romo as you guys think our pass blocking was otrocious.

You're forgetting the trade Jason Witten post.

But this is a close second.

Pimpin' ain't easy and neither is being a Sixers fan. I manage to do both. Join me at Liberty Ballers, the SBNation 76ers blog. Don't make fun of the name either. It has nothing to do with the New York Liberty of the WNBA.

If we hadnt already taken on Pacman and Tank

then Vick would make sense at a minimum deal, but now it would just look silly.

He'd be no better than..

Brooks Bollinger with the Boys O-Line. The opposing D’s will ruin him with the pass rush!!! The viGiants actually had a good O-Line, that’s why he looked good.

A good o-line can make an average qb look good,

but by the same token a good qb can make an average o-line look good

which Romo did when they were average last year

well, at least during the regular season. Last playoff game and this year they were absolutely horrendous.

David Carr did something that's basically impossible to do; shot down Steve Smith.

Seriously, look at how effectively rookie Matt Moore was able to utilize Smith against the Cowboys. Yet Carr couldn’t get the ball to him.

David Carr

Would not last a half behind this line.
