Why Jerry, why?
Of the idea of this.
In an interview on CBS' NFL pregame show, the oft-troubled cornerback said that not only does he expect to play football next season, "I think I might be back in Dallas."Host James Brown then asked: "And you have an inkling that Jerry Jones will give you another shot?"Adam Jones grinned and said, "Yeah, I do," but didn't offer any details to back his assertion.
To me, this was one of the best things we could do this off season. If you saw his play in the Philly game, you have to know that he isnt a team player, and as a team struggling with an identity, we do not need him, along with tank, and in my opinion, T.O.
I really hope this isnt true.

You've got the right read on the #1 problem on this team
right now.
There are other issues, esp. safety, but it’s the mixture of personalities that’s #1—there’s no other way to explain that last game.

Just Look
at the cardinals. A team with minimal talent, atleast on the defensive side of the ball along with the running game, yet they have won twice because their players play with passion, and larry fitzgerald is the equivalent of what a reciever should be, quiet, humble, and have good hands (the exact opposite of T.O.). our team could take a lesson.

i meant
not like the cowboys who are full of big name players. you dont hear about the cardinals d talked about as being feared or how they are overpaid or things like that. in no way did i intend to degrade their defense, because it has done an outstanding job in the playoffs.

And let's give some credit to their HC-Ken Whisenhunt
He’s got his team stopping the run and instituted a little more balance on offense while winning the turnover differential battle.
That’s the reason they’ve won both of their playoff games up to this point.
I absolutely wouldn’t mind seeing them win it all. However, I don’t think they’ll have a snowball’s chance in hell against either Philly or the G-Men.
But man, I hope I’m wrong.

I think
Fitzgerald and Andre Johnson are the two best wide outs in the NFL, imagine if A. Johnson played on a team like the eagles or even baltimore. there would be no stopping him, not like anyone is stopping him now anyways.

Don't understand the hate for Witten
or maybe you guys are making fun of those of us who think Witten is the best TE in the NFL.
T-New, shutting down WR's for Dallas since 2003
by APerfectStar on Jan 11, 2009 7:44 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Witten is the best TE in the NFL.
But some guys around here think he’s Paul Bunyan, or Ghandi, or Jesus or something. Everybody thinks he’s perfect. And although none of us know him personally, everyone thinks that he is incapable of any wrongdoing.
Im just disturbed by unhealthy man-crushes, and their is some unhealthy man-love going on on this blog.
It bothers me when everytime there is a dispute involving Witten, everyone on the blog says “Oh, he better shut his mouth, before Witten whoops his a**.” Is he a tight end or a damn UFC Champion? What if he can’t fight his way out of a wet paper bag? We dont know. What if Nick Folk is the toughest guy on the team? What if Matt McBriar can whoop everybody.?
Witten is great, but he drops balls like everybody else. He blows assignments occasionally. He runs the wrong route sometimes. There are even times when he’s not on the same page with Tony Romo, which is hard to believe since they sleep in the same bed, and feed eachother strawberries and whipped cream every morning.
Cris Carter....you're dead to me.

well put
he also gets lots of penalties. i really dont care about any of that.
i am saddened that TO and Witten seem to be at the absolute center of the apparent locker room discord and what looks to a borderline race riot breaking out in the locker room.
there is no right and wrong in those things, its just bad for the team
by 325424 on Jan 11, 2009 8:57 PM CST up reply actions 0 recs
Here is the key 325424, and this is what's killing me, and you, and all others here.
It’s your use of the words “seem” “apparent”, and i’ll throw in “perceived” or “it’s understood” or “it’s been mentioned” or “word out of the locker room” or “it’s been said” or “sources have it” or “according to” or “it’s my opinion that” etc. etc .etc. etc. How can people here not understand that this media driven circus may or may not have divided some elements of team unity, and has certainly affected the fan base, especially on this site with so many rabid, passionate fans hanging on the limbs of every comment made by the JJT’s, Mosley’s, Werders, Engel’s, etc. etc…
Granted, losing out on a trip to the playoffs is frustrating for all of us. But pointing fingers, and ousting players because of “perceived” problems is down right unwarranted. There is lot that needs fixing here, and it’s not helping that you have to come on, and hear every day it’s this guy, or that guy that’s gotta go. None of these players are going anywhere, yet by reading into every JJT or Werder story fuels the fires and keeps the fans miserable. I just wish everyone here would take a deep breath and move on. To have hundreds of posts bashing or defending the likes of TO and or Romo is just insane, and it’s not even justified discussing the subject. TO has not lost a step, and Romo wasn’t given ample time, or protection. OK people, I got it, Let’s move along now. Can we ? boy, the free agency period, and the draft are coming. These are supposed to be fun times too , ya know. Let’s put on our happy faces. :-)

Witten's not above being questioned
I just have a problem with fans wanting to state he was the source of the TO stuff without any proof other than citing some jerkwad on PFT (one step down on the ladder of crap journalism than Easy Ed Werder) who probably makes up half his stories while sitting on the can.
I defend lots of players that I think get unfair criticism on the blog, even TO (who’s got a mancrush on him???)
BTW, I’ve only stated I have a actual mancrush on MB3 (back when he was shredding defenses)
