Garret to St. Louis
Looks like Jason Garret is gone.
Jason Garret is flying to St. Louis. Most likely, he'll take the job and we'll lose another promising coach.
I know many would dump him for one bad season, but I think losing him is going to hurt this team. I think he'd be a much better leader than Wade Phillips and I would love for him to get one more year as OC before taking over as HC.
This probably means TO is staying too.

Done Deal. Adam Schefter Reported It.
My wish – Hire Mike Shanahan as OC.
Come on, King Jerry. Call Shanny NOW!

Al Saunders much?
They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time it works, every time.
So uh...I checked the TV and every blog I could think of
and nowhere does it say Jason Garrett is in fact the new head coach of the Rams. He’s most likely going to get the job, but nothing’s confirmed. Miracles can happen. People said he was as good as gone last year when he interviewed with Baltimore and Atlanta.
If he is gone, it’s bad news. Yes, his play calling was awful last year, but he has unbelievable potential. The man wouldn’t have interviewed for so many HC positions otherwise. My money is on Ray Sherman(the receiver’s coach) to take his job, should JG be gone.
potential ?? He's not a player..Coaches are judged by how they call the X's and O's
He receives an F in my book.

Meh
Maybe I used the wrong terminology? What I meant was just because he had a bad year(and boy was it bad), doesn’t mean he’s a bad coach. There were a lot of other determining factors. This whole season was one massive team implosion, and yes, Garrett deserves some of the blame, but they also battled mounting injuries, and lost a ton of coaches who were instrumental to the offense, such as Sparano. The guy might still shape up to be an excellent offensive play caller, who just so happened to have a sophomore slump. Happens to the best of ’em.

So coaches cant have potential?
There is no such thing as improvement for coaches? So experience must be over rated because coaches never improve. Thanks for opening my eyes

That is real bad news
"Ask Philly was it hard tryin' a stop TO, he da main reason that the fans would come fo'."
So uh...
Anybody else as relieved as I am that St. Louis went with Spagnuolo?
I heard on ESPN radio, I believe, that the Giants are going after Dom Capers to fill their DC position. That kinda’ sucks…I wanted him for our DC. Capers>Spags, but that’s enough of that. Don’t want to hijack the thread.
So yeah, it’s looking like the RHG gets another year, and that has me excited about the potential(yes…) for our offense to improve, while not going in an entirely different direction.
Twice positive news
We get to keep Garrett and the Giants lose Spags
