Capers No Longer On The Market
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel just reported that the Green Bay Packers have agreed to a deal with Dom Capers. Capers was hired as the new defensive coordinator to turn around a Packers' D that regressed this past 2008 season.
Apparently, the team plans on employing a hybrid 4-3/3-4 scheme, because Capers' feels that they have enough depth at linebacker.
Although Capers prefers to run a 3-4, he has had experience running a 4-3 -- most recently during his time under Tom Coughlin, when the two of them were together in Jacksonville.

Amen
With Spags gone, the only name that could instill fear in me was Capers, as far as the Giants go. WIth him in Green Bay, we’ll only have to deal with his defense every couple of years.
