Eagles DC Diagnosed with Cancer

This is sad news for all.

Jim Johnson, the 61 year old Eagles DC has been diagnosed with a recurrence of cancer. He is currently undergoing radiation treatment and says he plans to return to the sidelines. My hopes and prayers are with him and his family.

I hope he turns out alright, although I am confident that alot of Eagle fans wouldn't care if the situation were reversed.

That really sucks

Top of his game and now this. If his cancer has spread to other parts of his body then it doesn’t sound good. Not at his age.

It does suck

and if you read the reports, I think you have to realize that this is pretty serious. If it’s in his spine and in other places, that is about as bad as it gets. After reading some of the articles I would be surprised if we ever see Johnson on the sidelines again calling wacky blitzes.

I was wondering why he was in the press box in those last couple playoff games.
