Eagles DC Diagnosed with Cancer
This is sad news for all.
Jim Johnson, the 61 year old Eagles DC has been diagnosed with a recurrence of cancer. He is currently undergoing radiation treatment and says he plans to return to the sidelines. My hopes and prayers are with him and his family.

My best to him and his family
Hopefully, he returns to the sidelines. You like to have a chance to beat the best and he’s one of the best.
In all seriousness, my thoughts and prayers go out to him...

I'd rather play against the best
and Jim Johnson is one of em. Get well coach. Blitz that crap out of your body and get back on the sidelines where you belong!
That really sucks
Top of his game and now this. If his cancer has spread to other parts of his body then it doesn’t sound good. Not at his age.
There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of creatures Chuck Norris has allowed to live.
It does suck
and if you read the reports, I think you have to realize that this is pretty serious. If it’s in his spine and in other places, that is about as bad as it gets. After reading some of the articles I would be surprised if we ever see Johnson on the sidelines again calling wacky blitzes.
I was wondering why he was in the press box in those last couple playoff games.

My Uncle just died of colon cancer
They thought they got it initially, a few months later they found it throughout his body. A couple months later he was dead. This is NOT good news.

good luck to Coach Johnson
Hope all goes well, here’s to a speedy recovery.

Is that why he coached the last game from the box?
I remember them saying his back was hurting him. It does suck. As painful as it is to say, his defense is fun to watch work. Guys just FLYING all over the field…
