Why stop with with ST, lets take a whack at watkins

The link is in regards to the bolts cutting Hart a safety, maybe he could be used to push out watkins. I would hope that hamlin could come in but he is a rook and a vet from SD could be a better player to push watkins out. I could be completely off base but we need a better back-up or at least a smarter back-up than what watkins has shown. My main point is that the book is written on watkins, we need to see someone of comparable skill to come in an challenge this guy.

Some feedback on Hart

The san diego SB nation site stated that he is back-up material and plays ST, he did play there when WP was there so he may know something about him. I think that he would be comperable to watkins and maybe he is a smarter player to where he would be a better dependable back-up.

Either way, Watkins has to go

After seeing nothing out of him starting last year (I was supportive at first thinking he would be a great advantage in coverage compared to Roy Willy) I was really hoping we would cut him in the off season and get a reliable backup/starter at the SS position. And with him getting more PT this season due to Sensi’s injury (hopefully he doesn’t miss anymore this season) I think every Cowboys fan wants to see him go…he just lacks that instinct/nose for the ball that is required for any safety in this league to possess. Here’s to hoping we get Hart as a backup or that Mike Hamlin can come in and contribute now that he’s finally healthy.
