Bad week for Crayton...
Patrick Crayton has never been anyone's favorite, probably because he is more a possession guy then a play maker. Although, I do believe he is valuable to this team because of his durability and dependable hands. But in the end of it all after this week his roll in the offense is going to be drastically diminished... with Austins emergence and the possibly he might take his #2 spot and the unexpected veteran signing of Allen Rossum from san fran who we didnt bring in to be a CB so, there goes PC's punts and kickoffs. Is Crayton getting the short end of the stick?

Crayton has always played better in the slot position
Some would look at it as a demotion from the #2 WR position to move to the #3 slot position, but in Crayton’s case, it will probably increase his usability not diminish it. Perhaps he won’t catch as many balls, but I’d envision him catching some key third down conversions and some touchdowns in the red zone.

I just hope he gets his head on straight
I was very disapointed with his lack of concentration last week.

Crayton
…is watching his star fall.

I wouldn't even put Crayton in the slot
I’d put Hurd in the slot. He won’t fumble the ball away.

No matter how they use him
I just hope he does his talking on the field and not to the media. He does have a lot to say for a so so player.

Crayton was horrible in KC
Miles did great, on the other hand. If they DON’T start Austin, it’s an insult and sends a bad message to the rest of the team.
Crayton’s never been that great at punt returns, he’s just been consistent catching the ball. After his fumble(which should have been his second fumble of the game), he deserved to lose that job as well.
He should be a slot receiver, and that’s it. His days of starting are over, if the coaches have any common sense.

Wasn’t Crayton starting when this Cowboys team was at it’s best? Crayton is a good wide out but he needs the single coverage that having a TO and Witten brings.
