vikings look good
in early shredding the ravens
Err
might be overturned. Either way they are on the 1 yard line at worst.
I’m watching the Saints-Giants game online and it the broadcast is on SkySports. I think that’s England but not sure. In any case after each series they are analyzing the game. Mike Holmgren is there as well. It’s pretty weird.
NO saints dominating the gints
122 total yards to 12

It warms my heart
to see the Saints taking it to the Giants. But it also scares the hell out of me for when we play them later this year.
+1....
Saints look like the best team in football RIGHT NOW.

every coin has 2 sides, but
you are right on the money, when we gave away the giants game it deflated the team so bad, it will take few quality wins to get back again to that level
well..kinda
we’re just bad in a different way…we seem to self destruct on about 4 drives a game. Regardless of the Defense. The skins just stink lol.
I meant the Cowboys have only beaten winless teams themselves.
And very easily could’ve lost to a winless team a week ago.
while true
at least we play well for 70% of the game – its that other portion where we play like garbage that kills us.
The redskins just look like a bad team.
Hold on,
The Redskins gave the Lions their lone win.
They gave Carolina their only win.
If the Chiefs take them today, that’s three winless teams that got off the mat vs. Washington. Dallas isn’t remotely that bad.
we also smashed that defnse
The Giants have a way to go still for me to believe they’re real. Dominating the Chiefs, Raiders and Bucs doesn’t automatically make them a great team.
thats the most disheartening part of the loss to the Giants
and no one of the talking heads is picking on it: “Giants are great and Boys are crap” go figure. And there is no bias, whatsoever.
whats disheartening
is a great effort by the majority of the team get spoiled by a couple awful plays by romo. But thats in the past lol..positive thoughts!
thank god we don't play the saints till december
we’d be shredded by that team right now.
What was Webster doing on that Meachem play?
not too impressive for someone who is suppose to be one of the best
Brees has 170 yards passing already

Man it is awesome….they go from game to game to game….when a team moves into the redzone, they switch directly to that game. It’s AWESOME…especially when the boys aren’t playing!!!!

Did the league issue an apology ...
for the non-call on the hit that Romo took, or at least administer a fine?

Id LOVE cribbs
but I doubt hes for sale…hes the browns best weapon lol.
He said he wanted a new contract or a trade recently
Seems like a lot of players want out of Cleveland, and Jerry is known for paying his players.
And Quinn still can't beat him out
where are all those people who thought we should have picked him?
They're still hungover from their despair drunk...
…After the Flailing Irish failed in their rally versus USC.
have you watched the browns this year????
they have alot bigger problems, one major one is Mangini, he’ll be gone after only one year as their headcoach
I never really understood
why Mangini got another coaching gig immediately after being fired by the Jets.
Quinn hasn't done squat; I don't care how inept the coaching is.
QB sucks horribly is a pretty major problem.
Yeah, it doesn't matter that they are a joke of a franchise
or that he’s had some of the worst coaches in the NFL.
Coaching doesn’t matter, you’re right.
So he's great because you like him?
I honestly don’t know what he is in terms of being a quality NFL QB. But it’s pretty fanboyish of the guys that constantly dump on Romo to shun criticism of Quinn so easily.
So he sucks because you don't like him?
I am big supporter of Romo, but it’s ridiculous to write Quinn off.
I haven't wrote Quinn off.
But there were people who thought Quinn would have as much of an aptitude for the game as Matt Ryan or Joe Flacco which he clearly does not.
Besides that....
Maybe Quinn will become a good QB in his 4th or 5th year. Hell, maybe Leinart will, too. But the fact is the damned fools who wanted Quinn probably thought he’d instantly step in and be this cure-all. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb.
Actually, little buddy; I've brought this up before.
If anything, it’s moronic to bust on the Cowboys for passing up on Quinn when they had not one but TWO shots at Rodgers. That’s the real crime and at the moment if I was being totally honest I’d take Rodgers over Romo.
I said NOTHING about Dallas passing on Quinn
Read what I’ve written before you spout off. I love Romo, but Quinn can still be a good QB in the NFL.
As is your penchant for assumptions.
You bring random player Aaron Rodgers into the discussion. Well, the fact is that making assumptions about how good Aaron Rodgers is or isn’t because he couldn’t supplant future Hall Of Famer Brett Favre would’ve been downright goofy. On the other hand, you have Brady Quinn who has played and who can’t even beat out perennial tradebait/seatwarmer/placeholder Derek Anderson. Yes, the comparison makes a lot of sense.
NOT.
Good lord; get over your boner for Quinn until he's done a single thing in this league called the NFL.
You’re not an actual GM so your hunches don’t count.
what fools are you referring too
ther cowboys who had him ranked as their 8th best player on the board, are they the fools you are referring too
Sorry, don't care enough.
Anyhow, read what I wrote. What does it matter what they actually had him ranked if they passed him over?
He hasn't played but a handful of games
the problem is with the rest of the team, starting with the front office, then the headcoach,. they traded away their starting weapons from last year, what would you expect, this isn’t fantasy football
Terry, you really need to get your facts straight
I’ll tell you again, maybe you’ll get it this time, the cowboys, not me had him rated the 8th best player on their draft board, if that’s the case, as Jerry continues to tell everyone, thet you draft to your board and take the best player available, something you say all the time, then you take that player if he drops to you in the twenties
It's not Quinn's fault he's not starting
The kid has got play 6 games in 3 years and he’s been stuck in Cleveland. Now he has to deal with Mangina. I really think him being benched has a lot to do with his contract.
well, 5-0 is 5-0
undefeated is what it is. but you’re right in thinking the Giants haven’t played a good football team yet.
Guy from carolina just leveled clinton smith of Tampa bay
while smith was attempting to field a punt. WAY BEFORE the ball got there…bench clearing brawl ensued…..Clinton is out cold!!!

Honestly, he's looked like a different guy this year and that's painful for me to admit.
We’ll have to see how he does when the chips are down.
it's easy to look different
against the defenses he’s faced, we’ll see what he’s made of the next 7 game stretch
In Romo we Trust
Agreed
hes looked improved to me. But hes still made some dumb mistakes that defenses (us too) haven’t capitalized on, that will happen as the season goes on.
Theres still a long way to go though. ANd the giants usually (like us) play well the first 2 or three months and then tank.
I almost feel sorry for Danny boy.
He brings in all the right players; well big name players anyway.
it is sad , when nobody wants to coach your team and you have no choice but to
promote inexperienced OC to HC.
you guys make your own conclusions
that explains Austins big game at KC
You'll never get in a traffic jam, while going the extra mile. -Roger staubach
Or maybe KC's GM has a Marv Albert deal where...
That corner stands in the corner and the GM’s wife does unspeakable things to him with a high heel.
And i was the genius
who benched him for TJ Houshmanzadeh. I gave webster a little too much credit i think.
The ravens D has really struggled in pass defense today
they’re missing tackle like we have been.
Didn't Houshmazilla bitch about how too much was made of his low YPC?
Wow, he really up the ante this year.
Is it peyton?
The guy is a one year wonder everywhere he goes and then tears it up with the saints.
I think Brees’ ability to see the whole field is a factor.
’
no, qb and coach have nothing to do with
receivers getting great separation, thats all on them. Just proves Jerry’s theory about being able to get good receivers late in the draft and in FA.
In Romo we Trust
when the qb scans the field as well as brees
it matters. At least 15 qbs in this league do a horrible job at this and 25 including Romo don’t do it nearly as well as brees. There have been a few times i’ve seen Romo lock on to a wr and miss wide open ones.
I agree talent has something to do with it, but i don’t think its a coincidence that an average wr in Lance Moore (imo…he may actually be well below average, im not sure he starts on any other team) has a great season with Brees at the helm

I hope the Cowboys are watching the SAINTS..
the coaches especially. The Saints are playing like a championship team. NO stupid penalties, NO turnovers. They are executing their offense and handing the Giants their collective heads!
Saints can think about resting Brees in this one...lol.
How embarrassing…you know this is the game the ’boys are watching on their 72inch screens.

I'm amazed the Giants are getting NO pressure on Brees...
That’s their bread ’n butter…rushing the qb.
c'mon give the saints Oline some credit.
they do this to everyone.
Tuck is NOT overrated.
Osi though imo is seriously overrated – the guy lives off of 3 big plays a year and is a decent player otherwise. Not great.
The Giants and Eagles games wth the Saints
is reminding me a lot of our game in 2006. NO is just shredding EVERYONE.
minus
the 3 tds to the fullback of course.

They did it to philly too
I don’t the the giants are incredibly overrated – they are absolutely top 10. But they’ve now been torched against the only two respectable offenses they’ve faced. SO they’re kinda in a similar position to us – all their games have been against really good offenses (when we don’t get penalties, we’re really good) and really bad offenses where they padded their stats.
It's the first time Eli is playing in the La Superdome as an nfl qb......
an daddy Archie…who is to NO what Staubach is to Dallas MUST be having mixed feelings…..cheering the Saints but feeling bad for sonny boy, I’m also wondering how many fans down there would like Eli throwing the ball for them ?

I'm listening to the 'Skins radio guys
Sam Huff and Sonny Jurgensen are NFL royalty. Long-time Hall of Famers. Old, distinguished Redskins. And today, they sound like two senile uncles. It’s a bit sad. Sam is trying to have enthusiasm and Sonny sounds like that jaded, “I’ve seen this movie before”cynic. Just now:
Sam: That number 98 made a great play! He threw the Chief for a three yard loss, that number 98.
Sonny: That’s Orakpo, Sam.
Sam: Does he get credit for a sack on that play? That was a great play!
Sonny: It was a handoff… to the running back.
One minute later, after KC kicks a FG to take a lead.
Sonny: Back in the day the cheerleaders used to chant, ‘we want a touchdown! We want a touchdown! Today, they’re chanting, ‘we want a field goal! We want a field goal!’
Harsh
HaHa....Being from Va

I was going to be 8-0 in the early games if he hits that!
Giants overrated!
If it wasn’t obvious after the barely beat us (Cowboys) despite all the turnovers, it is now.
It's kind of scary...
Seeing how easy those Saints make beating the NFC East leaders.
But, hey, maybe the Cowboys will go back to that preseason dink ‘n dunk and march down the field 8 minutes, 15 plays at a time and Brees won’t have so much time to score points.
As far as the Giants game vs. the Cowboys… If they had just taken a little longer to score that final touchdown, the Giants don’t get down the field quickly enough to score. :P
Not for Danny and Vinny...
just go to your local Bingo game/Meals-on-Wheels establishment. Boy, and we thought Dallas had issues…
Technically it's in France
but judging by my 2 favorites sports teams (astros and Boys) it might as well be in tx :-)

But it’s Paris, Tx not France

We need to win 2 against them, and beat the Raiders, to have any shot at the post season.
That would be 6 wins.

what outsider would want to take over that mess?
Which insider could be elevated and improve things?
I don't think...
any of the big money guys (Cowher, Gruden, Shanahan, Holmgren) are going to want to work under Snyder. They can get get money somewhere else and have more control. Gotta feel for the Skins fans. Snyder knows how to make money, just not run a team.
i agree Raf, but the problem is that you're being rational and logical....there are a lot of words
i’d use to describe Dan Snyder, but ‘rational’ and/or ‘logical’ (with respect to football decisions) wouldn’t make the list

They played decent against us, not that great
honestly, outside the two turnovers which were self inflicted, we dominated that game
the broncos were decent against us
though we had the romo-austin miscommunication + Romo was pretty innacurate. But to be honest, thats been he norm with this eam against good defenses. So i think its fair to say the Broncos beat us.
We certainly beat ourselves against the giants though.
the Broncos forced mistakes
Romo is a great QB. I think their D forced some bad throws.
Give credit where it’s due.
Ich bin ein Berliner--JFK
the austin misconnection wasn't forced
but it was a heck of a play by bailey to make the INT. usually that will fall harmlessly to the ground
well, more than just those 2 turnovers
I remember a stretch in that game where I was using terms like joke and embarrassing, and they Pam Oliver said the team itself was using those words. The D was good until that last drive and made up for it in OT, and they got it together on offense later on, but for a while there we looked really bad with a whole spate self-inflicted wounds.
But I also heard on one interview, maybe Bradie James? they he heard that the coach told the players this was their most important game of the year, circled on the calendar, they wanted more than anything to beat the Cowboys and prepared extra for us.
But to some degree, that is true for most teams. Cowboys have a target on them, always have, or at least as long as I remember, and sometimes analysts and media forget about this, but it’s true. Teams are more likely to bring their A game vs. the Cowboys.
We were also hurrendous along the oline
But I don’t think its a stretch to say wthout those two early turnovers, its not much of a contest. They hardly moved the ball against us all day
Thanx for the comfort
But ya know for some weird freakin reason even the lowliest teams bring their A game against our Boys, what the heck is up with that?

every team thinks is a freaking Super Bowl to play the Boys
it does seem like it
but we don’t help anything by keeping lesser teams in the game
eagles are awful..
there o line looks like garbage as well
they threw away a boatload of money on those guys.
Shawn andrews is pretty much done in this league i think. Stacey Andrews was benched. And I think they way overpaid peters.

No they'll call for kolb
even though he was turnover prone against NO (everyone seems to be) he TORE IT UP in his 2 games. In fact, every qb who replaces mcnabb seems to tear it up. I think its an indictment on McNabb’s inaccuracy which can really stall that offense at times
and theres the game changer

Does it matter who throws to TO?
TO doesn’t seem to get open or any separation these days.
what an irony
out of the 4 games right now, only the raiders game looks competitive, the rest are blowouts
jackson down for the birds...
raiders owning the birds
Brady is still throwing in 2nd half
up 45-0…boy that rubs me the wrong way. Throwing twice on first down.
Another td to moss
the starters should’ve been pulled at haftime
not that I wish injury on anyone, but
I wont feel sorry if it happens. Belickick has lost his mind again
now to be fair
i distinctly remember tennessee running up the score on detroit last year. i have no problem with this.

Not quite robolundgren
Tennessee threw 18 or 19 times in that game and ran 46. Please…
hmm
i think i remember them doing stuff like going for it on 4th well after the game was settled

Sometimes teams do that in lieu of kicking a FG. I’m not saying that was the case, because I didn’t see that game, but that is actually considered better sportsmanship, because you give the team a chance to stop you rather than getting more “easy” points.
by Baked Potato Soup on Oct 18, 2009 6:55 PM CDT up reply actions
So, it seems like Brady will be going for the single game
TD record, which is 7. He has 6 now, start of the 3rd quarter.
I would giggle is Brady got hurt, to be honest. Does that make me worse than Hitler?
I won't root for brady to get hurt
I’ll root for a player to slide out of bounds and break belicick’s knee.
I know people hate brady, but i enjoy watching one of the best players of all time play.

the eagles are still losing...
are they really gonna blow this? it absolutely follows their MO of the last couple years or two – lose one or two or three games a year to teams you should never lose to (or tie).
But they couldn’t lose to the raides…could they? lol
I'm glad the Patriots got Brady out of the game...
Because it’s not like it was over @ 45-0 or anything.
Friggin’ Pats. God, I’ve really come to hate them.
re: eagles
Mcnabb look like sht..There o line looks like garbage..there rookie rb mcCoy looks overrated to say the least..Defensively they cannot stop the run..There linebackers are garbage..more to come….
but if they win
it doesnt matter.
But as i’ve said before – we don’t know anything about anyone in this division – beating upon weak opponents doesn’t make you a good team. Just not a bad one lol
good point
it will be hillarious if they lose to a jv team
NE is about to go up even more on tenessee
though i honestly don’t have a problem with giving your backup qb reps and trying to score
wow sanzhez is blowing it against the bills
they had a 10 pt lead and 2 sanchez ints have given the bills life..whatever life you can have with Ryan Fitzpatrick at qb.
hes totally at fault if they blow this one
the game was in hand at halftime and he gave the bills life
nearly another one!
and that would’ve been for a td.
either way he will get it
he talks alot of sht but his team really sucks azz as well
B.Hoyer pass incomplete short right to S.Aiken (C.Williams).
didnt know this players existed, moreover on NE team
2:32 4th and 4 at raiders 45 or so...
wow. tough call. they have 3 timeouts
Seriously...
It’s like he saw Brees throw 4 TD’s and goes, “Okay, I’ll see your 4, and raise you 1… in the first quarter bitch.”
is it just me
or does mcslabb have the biggest facemask in the world?

westbrook had a good game in such limited action.
Only andy reid….well…jason garrett too.
I can't believe it
The bye week could not have treated us better. All our division rivals looked horrible today. We gained a half a game on each of them. Redskins I figured could lose, they are setting a record losing to winless teams lol. Giants I figured could lose too, but they got their butts kicked. But the Eagles? Beat by the Raiders?! BWAAAAHAAAHAHAHAHA!! Raiders last couple weeks widely considered the worst and most inept team in the NFL, just beat the Eagles!
That's it...
in a world where Oakland can win ourtright over Philly, maybe the dynamic duo of Jerry and Wade can be successful.
Anyone know why Baltimore didn’t resign Stover? Did he just leave for more money? They should have tried to move closer. He did choke though.

They have like 10 posters named dawk
I love how ByeDawk was the only one intelligent enough to realize the eagles blew it by calling timeout with 2:02, giving the raiders the option of passing or running. WHich ended the game.
I think my favorite quote reading their blog was “our receivers can’t get open. And when they do, McNabb can’t get it to them. And when he does, they can’t catch it”. with more explicatives.
The Eagles suck at this point in the year every season
Then somehow pull it together, and usually kick our ass when it counts.
remember reid’s family problems, McNabb getting benched…
Now it’ll be all about Vick.
I’ll laugh after week 17.
sorry dude

Anyhow, the Eagles shouldn't be praised ever.
Slow start; late-season burst; postseason disappointment. So what?
Furthermore...
The one Eagles team that did get to the Super Bowl feasted on lamer-ass pansies than last year’s Cards; an 8-8 Vikings team and an extremely one-dimensional Falcons team with that puppy lover at the helm.
I know what you mean..
but the Eagles being 3-2 and in the same spot as us without a single legit win and 1 bad loss, considering all the praise they’ve received.. has gotta make cowboy fans happy.
Also, they’ve looked really bad at points this year. They suffered a ton of injuries today. Their oline is a disaster.
yeah what's with the f-bombs
of course, eliminate that and you take away 75% of a Philthydelphian’s vocabulary

+1
I thought we released him at the exact right time, but he as not nearly as bad as the media made him out to be.
In all seriousness, I think if we have playoff success in th next couple years we have to give credit to TO, cause i really doubt we stick with Romo at qb if it wasn’t for the way he and TO connected the first 2 years. Take away TO, give us anemic wrs, and we’re looking at Brady Quinn at qb.
I'm rooting for Buffalo
I went to school for 4 years in NY, that city loves their bills. I went to the Bills-Cowboys game monday night and it was one of the coolest experiences of my life. They need to get something going in the next couple years or they’l be relocated
Good reason.
I was at the 2nd Cowboys-Bills Super Bowl in the Georgia Dome with my dad and I’d be lying my ass off if I didn’t tell you I thought the Bills were going to win at halftime.
yeah the Bills seem to be all they have in that town - would hate to see them get the rug yanked
out from under them….
there’s a youtube video out there that kind of knocks on Buffalo as being a small town – it’s kind of mean spirited, but i laughed til i hurt watching it

beating the Chefs in OT doesn't look so bad now
considering that Philly is supposed to be one of the best teams in the NFC
In Romo we Trust
beating the chiefs the way we did
shouldn’t have been considered such a negative. The way we fought our way back and in OT, I was proud of the effort, just not proud of the turnovers and oline play in the first half. Winning road games in the afc west is tough, as the eagles found out today.

random question from a Giants fan
which loss did you guys enjoy the most?
- Giants getting blown out by the undefeated Saints
- Redskins losing for the 3rd time against an otherwise winless team
- Eagles losing to a putrid Raiders team
I think if the situation were reversed and the Cowboys took the Giants place, I’d still enjoy the Eagles loss the most
"[The Giants] beat us down. We were beat by a grown-man team, a team we want to be like one day. They came in here and took it to us. Out-manned us, out-gunned us. ... It wasn't even close." - Raheem Morris, 9/27/09
thats not even a question
no doubt the eagles losing to a putrid Raiders team, not even close.
In Romo we Trust
I can imagine
really just an awful day for the NFC East though. I think we’ve definitely forfeited our claim as the best division in the NFL. Now we’re not even the best division in the NFC – the North is definitely better, and the South even has a claim.
"[The Giants] beat us down. We were beat by a grown-man team, a team we want to be like one day. They came in here and took it to us. Out-manned us, out-gunned us. ... It wasn't even close." - Raheem Morris, 9/27/09
North is not necessarily better
I don’t think we can say how one division compares to the other. Green Bay and Chicago have their ups and downs and while minny looks great, I think the GIants are better than them.
We’ll have a good feel for the south. 16 intra-division games will work that out. Right now we-re 6-3. 4-0 against the Bucs. 2-1 against the Panthers. 0-2 against the saints. I feel comfortable saying we’ll finish with a record over .500 against that division.
Well now that you're here
I’ll be a real B and say of course it was the Giants, what else could you be thinkin darlin?

I kind had a feeling that
Giants will loose
didnt care bout Washington, because they are realy realy not a good team
but I knew how bad Raiders were/are so the Eagles loss was fantastic
with the Redskins though
it’s the combination of all the losses and the fact that they’ve played quite possibly the easiest schedule in NFL history. Also, I live in DC, so it’s awesome

Eagles absolutely
im meh on the other two – thought both games would be tough for the nfc east. The Eagles loss made my sunday.
Without a doubt the easgles loosing was the football highlight of the day!!
Love it! Love it! Love it! Love it! Love it! Love it! Love it! Love it!
unless Romo starts giving early gifts for the holidays

What? That's a TD?
But if he had gone to the ground even after 2 feet down in the end-zone and lost possession, it’s no catch? They need to clarify this rule
Seriously
Does he have to carry the ball back to the bench after dancing a little jig with it?

I don't know what to think of that call
except I do agree with you there does seem to be some real gray area left to interpretation can result in wildly varying results, and hence, some very unfair calling.

Who is Cutler's OC/QB coach?
Don’t know why Chicago doesn’t use Cutler to supplement the effective running game from last year (like Min does with Favre) instead of radically change the offense to pass-whacky.
Kind of like Grossman?
I don’t think it’s a bad idea to rein it in when it’s hurting your team.
I believe Grossman had pretty close to 8 good to great games..
And 8 horribly bad games in ‘06. At any rate, even I can’t deny that his bomb-hurling is what got the Bears past the Seahawks in the Divisional Round that season.
Okay, after reading that...
I’m sure he didn’t actually have eight horrible games but you get my gist.
Actually...
I remember that season he had games where he played great, and games where he singlehandedly lost at least 4 games because of multiple turnovers (not counting that MNF game in Arizona where he was terrible but defense and special teams won the game).
Can you be labeled a gunslinger without averaging 2-4 INTs a game?
I think in the end that mentality can hurt your team. You lose momentum, defense is out on the field longer. Can’t remember the details but I believe Chi had that first SNF game won against GB without those INTs. Give me the stability of QBs like Matt Ryan who have the potential to wing it but have the smarts/skill to not turn the ball over as much.
The jury is still out on my boy Romo...
hopefully he’ll bring us a Lombardi Trophy. But I think what Ryan did as a rookie bringing a downtrodden team to the playoffs which a much less talented team than Dallas is impressive.
are they much less talented?
I’d argue that they have as much offensive talent as we do…our oline is insanely overrated given the mistakes they make. I’d take Roddy White over any receiver on our roster this year or last year.
Not if you're in CA
I heard they wan’t to ban plasma tv cuz they hog electricity. Those people in charge over there are insane control freaks.

Not sure
It’s the whacked out enviros that don’t want you using electricity or anything else that might corrupt the pristine nature of nature. To some of them, it would be better for the planet if man didn’t inhabit it at all (and cows too, they fart too much). I say, yeah right you go off YOURSELF, if you think the planet would be better off without your freakin carbon footprint.

I can't imagine a plasma pulls more amps than a CRT.
I could be wrong. I’ll check that.
Perhaps they could go back to telegraph?
The LED's are even more energy efficient than the LCD's n' plasmas, but Laser TV is
where everything is headed

one thing he learned today...
his o line blows …they have no depth either..sad
ironic he was criticizing our OL for being old
age has nothing to do with being good
In Romo we Trust
good point terry..
He also comes in here busting spencers ability even though i think he can play some..The eagles linebackers flat out suck…its hillarious
Dude

No friggin' way....
Unless you can provide a link, I’m not a believer.
However, that is one of the funniest damn things I’ve ever heard.
It's there
In their latest thread. Seems like they’re really really really pissed off at David Akers. Plus, whoever said that they are really loose lips with the F word, the S word and every other bad thought you can imagine, it’s way over the top. Bad, bad fans. Need to have their distemper shots.

Wow. Just.... Wow.
btw this game was a microcosm of Akers career since he shvaed the stache
He is awful when it counts, all his stats are padded from blowout games. The man sickens me
by fleeb on Oct 18, 2009 5:58 PM PDT reply actions 0 recs
That is outrageous. While I don’t read it as blaming the shaved lip being the reason Akers has stunk; It’s just ridiculous to even list that as a timeframe in his career.
Do you think Pro-Football-Reference.com will add that to his career statistic listings?
Akers Career #’s with ’Stache / Without ’Stache?
Chicago sucks

Denver's made my eyes bleed at first,
then they started to grow on me. Still, those should be once a year or less. Unlike the SD baby blues which should be SI
whenever I am feeling down I will just head over to the eagles blog for a lift
its good theatre..those fans are a bunch of pansies…If they win next week there be booking trips to miami in feb…
Ryan and Cutler
neither look that good to me.
Their recievers sure do drop a lot
Plus, the Bears must be playing with a greasy ball, it just squirts out everywhere

saw something new in that game today - Eli seems to have added "mad face" to his repertoire ...saw him beating on one of his own guys out there on the field

Say fellas
Do we want the Falcons to win or lose here tonight? I’ve heard a few say they think it best that the Falcons win cuz we get em next week. I can’t think really agree that would do a lot for their mental attitude, maybe I’m wrong. I was wrong once. :)

i thought i heard them say something like since Atlanta's current coach has been there, they've never
lost 2 games back to back? is that right? if so, i think we should root for ’em to win….sounds like this coach gets their butts ready to play the week after a loss

I'd think we want ATL to lose, then Boys win next week...
…effectively gives a 2 game swing for wild card position if it comes to head-to-head match ups. As usual, I could be wrong
given how good NO looks
I hate to say it but we need the atlanta game even more after tonight. We’d essentially give them a 3 game lead for that wc spot if we lose. If we lose next week we need to beat philly and GB for sure
WE CAN'T DEPEND ON WHAT THE OTHER TEAMS DO
