DeMarcus Ware said he can feel the stress fracture in his foot, but it's not too much of a bother.
"I had a sack in the Kansas City game, so I don't think it's hindering me or anything," Ware said. "I'm not worried about it. I have been playing with it for three weeks."
An MRI revealed the stress fracture and it was a relief for the Ware, who has two sacks this season. Ware said he will use a micro stem to treat the bone.

So, stimulating the nerves helps the bone heal?

My son had a stress fracture
in his foot when he played in high school. They made an insert for his shoe to help relieve some of the pressure.
Is it the same thing as a hair line fracture...
I had a hair line fractured bone in the ankle in 2 a days in HS and wore a cast 3 weeks sat out 2 more and played the last 5 games.
My son set out a couple weeks but it still hurt when he played.
He pretty much just played through the pain.
