Not Many Games
To get excited about today, at least until we play later. Minnesota and Pittsburgh should be interesting, everything else looks blah to me.

I cant listen to Keyshawn, and Cris Carter for another second. Talkin about how we dont run the football. WE ARE THIRD IN THE LEAGUE IN RUSHING!! Do these guys even watch the games?

Eh, I didn't see their comments, but earlier Ditka, etc., were talking about using the running
game more strategically. I think he was right.

I did the same thing today, Aaron
Forte’s on my bench behind Maroney, Choice, Ronnie Brown, Mendenhall, and Westbrook. Not what you hope for from the #4 overall pick.
Larry Allen benched 700 pounds. That is Leonard Davis times two.

Good News / Bad News
Good News: Doesn’t look like SF will be much of a player in the Wildcard hunt
Bad News: SD is making our overtime win over KC look really bad. Our 3 wins were against the Junior Varsity NFL.
by JimmyJohnson on Oct 25, 2009 1:42 PM CDT reply actions 0 recs
lets move on already from the KC overtime win
by scandrick32 on Oct 25, 2009 1:56 PM CDT up reply actions 0 recs
agreed.
come playoff time no one will remember or care. Every team has games that make them “look” bad.

Doesn't Matter
You said teams can’t run on them. Or do you have a different understanding of what “can’t” means than is commonly understood in the English language?
Maybe they use a diff’rint dictionary up there’n around Pixburgh.

Early Games Going Like I Thought They Would
One good game and five snoozers. At least the good game is really good.

Danny Amendola
Just caught a pass for the Rams. He actually has eight catches so far this year, four today.
Better to be playing for a bottom feeder than not at all.

Alex Smith
Would a QB contoversry in SanFran be good or bad for America? On the good side, something interesting would be happening in the NFC West. On the bad side, we would have to talk about the NFC West. Looks like a stalemate. Another Vernon Davis touchdown!???! QB controversy—YES WE CAN

I'd Still Take Hill
Over Smith any day. Smith was given every chance, but played poorly. Hill is not athletic, but makes good decisions in the pocket. That’s the most important thing for a QB.
by kindablue on Oct 25, 2009 2:51 PM CDT up reply actions 0 recs
Yeah I don't disagree
My bother is a Niners’ fan and is all excited about this comeback.. But like I told him, the bad thing about this is the possbility of Alex Smith becoming the starter again…nothing good could come of that.
