The NFC East has won 11 Super Bowls; oddly none of those have come courtesy of the Eagles.
Matt Ryan is rattled.
He’s still good, and he’s going to be good for a while…

major props to Crayton
he takes a lot of crap and has had his struggles, but regardless he came up with some poetic justice this game, scoring both as a WR and a punt returner after losing both starting jobs
nice block

Crayton really did very little on that one actually. Still…good for him

Before the punt I said just call a fair catch and do not make a mistake and let the offense run down the clock, see what I know.

I know many media guys think Ryan is the next Peyton, but has this guy ever won a come from behind
4th quarter game?
Well, to be fair, he's only in his 2nd season.
Anyhow you know how the stinkin’ media works. Premature emadjackulation all the time.
I'm fine with that hit
the best defenses in this league draw those types of penalties. This is football.
I don’t see that as cheap. He was running. THAN YOU TROY lol.
NEWMAN!!!

good job there
that SHOUDL end it barring turnovers/blocked punts
that blown coverage was horrific
i know the cowboys are up and looking pretty good generally, but that was awful. just gave them the 6.
if it was in seattle id be a little more worried
at home…i feel confident. Not overly confident, but i think we’ll play well.

why
does it seem like Troy hates to be reminded of his career in Dallas?
by goldnboi7 on Oct 25, 2009 6:12 PM CDT via mobile reply actions
because as usual he is a professional in what he does
and currently he is a broadcaster, not a former cowboys. just listen to him when not in the booth
wishing barber had gotten that 1st
hard to complain too much, though. a big win against a 4-1 squad is good.
i’d really like it if the defense wouldn’t give up a quick td, though.
Special teams were great again today.
Buehler+McBriar+Folk+great blocking on craytons return
I criticize the Cowboys a lot for their development of young talent..
but I give them full credit for being patient and developing Austin’s raw talent.
If I were to make a movie about the Atlanta Falcons
I’d cast Steve Martin as Mike Smith.
2009 Dallas Cowboys: 10-6

Ever heard the story...
About Nait-Chuh Boy falling out of his boat during a drunken stupor and his fellow wrasslers taking a couple of minutes to realize it? Probably an exaggeration about the minutes part but still classic story.
The Cowboys had some confident fire today...
like to see more of that this year

And I’m not calling you a female undergarment. It’s just that long ago I found it’s better to always speak like Hollywood Hogan.
back at ya
There was a bit of a stumble today. But, the Falcons are the real deal and you’ve got a lot of good years ahead. Thanks for you input here this week. Shows a lot of class and true “fanhood” :). Big change for us Boys fans who are used to giants and egles fans, lol.
Thanks again and best of luck this year to u and your boys Dave!
Wade Phillips has never won a playoff game as a head coach..he has lost 4 home playoff games.
His longest tenure as head coach was 3 years.
Only once did his record as a HC improve from one year to the next (by 1 game)

anyone else wish joe buck was there?
his replacement messed up more times then i can count.. either names wrong “mike columbo” or calling marty b… booker
or when it was 3rd and goal saying they could run a play then spike it
haha

someone please make a fanpost that crayton is a solid contribitor
and should be apart of this team for a long time… hes just very solid
What the French?! Toast!
he drops that TD after the Romo scramble
and it’s a different game
i was thinking romo should of ran it in
i mean he had a lane to walk in plus alot of things could of went wrong like a linemen knocking it out from behind… anyone else think his decision to throw wasnt the best? or am i mistaken and he didnt have a lane to run
What the French?! Toast!
I'm sorry i don't see it
he had a td where he had like 7 seconds to get open and a punt return td where he didn’t get touched…if that was rossum it would still be a td.
While there is definitely too much critcism for crayton, it seems like theres a little too much love after this game for a guy whose done little his last 13 games for this team.
The Roy vs Crayton debate thats come up on these threads is ridiculous
im not saying hes a superstar or should be #1 wr
he should stay where hes at but keep him on the team!
What the French?! Toast!
Watching that Saints game...this is the exact situation that would have me shaking in my
boots with our Cowboys in past games this season….u kick a field goal to get a 6 point lead with 3 min. left – all the other team has to do is come down and score a TD to win it by 1
Today’s game was a very nice change of pace

I called the comeback at 24-3 of that game.
Can’t prove it though
Wade's rationalizations sure are a hell of a whole lot easier to swallow when we played well and won, as opposed to when we stink it up

For All of the times the boys have been ragged on.
Lets give them the love they deserve for this win. Romo, Austin , Jenkins and Sensi all looked awesome. Crayton for all the abuse he’s taken played well. The lines on both sides were solid although those penalties are going to kill them eventually. Basically they showed that they could dominate on both sides of the ball. I do wonder why they didn’t use Choice more. All and all a great game. BTW Brooking only great and what a leader.
