Ware is getting to the passer so fast they can't react. Ratliff is the best nose tackle in the league (there, I said it). Spencer is always around the play, if not quite the playmaker yet. Buehler is booming them-- maybe the most important addition of the off season. Sensabaugh is flying around the secondary, even if it leaves us open at times. Hamlin is sold. But you know what sums it up?
Great quote from SI "It also was [the Cowboys'] best overall performance, with Romo having fun without making any careless mistakes." Exactly. Romo was back in the saddle, playing football and having fun. I've seen alot of hair pulling and teeth gnashing on this board about our signal caller, but everyone has to give it up for Romo. When his receivers actually catch the ball (And give him some YAC) he is awesome. Contraversial Opinion: We would be undefeated right now if the receivers hadn't been dropping easy catches from Romo all season. Finally some hands, and the offense goes off.
Still, what's up with Roy Williams? The guy looks dangerous when he has the ball in space but he drops so many that he should catch. Imagine if he started catching some of those...
C'mon, this team could be sick. Brooking is a major upgrade at MLB. The guy is a throwback to some old school NFL smashmouth. Jenkins is playing like a freakish athlete. Skilled. Hard hits and always making a good play on the ball. What?! Since when did Jenkins become a hitter? Making old man Newman hustle to keep up...
Witten just steps up and makes plays when the team needs them. Reliable and always a good target. Barber is banging heads and Jones is threatening everytime. Still got Choice in the back pocket (he may be the best pure runner on the team).
I'm not even going to mention Austin because it is too easy.
Even Barbie held down his position. And don't count out Crayton. These are the Cowboys I love.
