...but this was yet another troubling win. Has any talented team in history tried so hard, so often, to beat itself? I suppose it's some comfort we can overcome sloppiness to win sometimes. But the cold, hard truth is that championship teams don't make nearly the number of dumb mistakes we do so consistently. We'll never win the SB playing like we have the last 3 years.
I've given Wade just about all the rope I can, but this has to come down on him. He's had plenty of time to tighten things up, and we still get too much dumb stuff from our players too often. I just don't think head coaching is his strength, plain and simple. Oy.
P.S. What a miserable game from RW. Ugh. 2 or 3 drops, a dumb penalty and a wierd jump/quit on a route on an important down. I hope he's apologized to his team mates.
