How much do you LOVE Sensabaugh and that secondary now?

Man I know its only one game but I love the way GS was flying all around.  If the secondary keeps this up I think that the boys have a REALLY good shot at the division.  I mean he did a AWSOME job on TG and their isn't a tight end thats better (excep JW).  If the boys can keep the penalties down I think the boys can beat anyone. Again I know its only one game but the pressure was there.

I've said it many times

the only team that can beat the Cowboys are the Cowboys. If they limit their mistakes, they can certainly play with and beat any team in the league.

The great part is that this team is still growing and getting better and the sky is the limit on how good they can be.

Your right Terry

The Cowboys are the team that beat themselves. I guess we just have to accept that we are a developing team, and the best is yet to come. However, Terry, I still don’t agree with you about Jason Garrett. I just wish that he would learn to accept that some teams are not gonna let you beat them through the air (Giantts), and that they have the talent to stop the pass. We beat ourselves with turnovers against both the Giants and Broncos. Hopefully, with the emergence of Miles, some relief can happen on offense and allow Garrett to do some other things. But being able to do other things is one thing, deciding to do them is another. I hope he has learned not to try and outsmart himself anymore, and that his biggest priority is using the correct players for the right kind of play at the right time. I think we are seeing more of that, and it needs to continue, along with one more thing that is even more important than that- turnovers! We have to keep playing as mistake free football as possible. The key is Romo.

I don’t even think the mighty Eagles scare us anymore. The redskins are in trouble when they play us. I actually like passing- as long as the recievers can make the plays. No reason to be forcing passes though, since that leads to turnovers (and disaster). We will have our day against the Giants.

The problem

is that Dallas constantly beats themselves. They still had some ill-timed penalties this game but were able to overcome them. I don’t trust at all that they can consistancy limit turnovers and stupid penalties. I hope they can, but they haven’t done it enough yet.

Cowboys can beat the Saints

if they don’t beat themselves, they can easily put up points on their defense.

As long as Sensi and Jenkins stay healthy

I like our chances. One of them gets hurt, were back to being in trouble. Newman did finally wake up a little bit after a awful start.

I honestly think Sensabaugh may be the fourth best player on this defense

behind Ware, Ratliff and Brooking. He looked great flying around yesterday making stop after stop and all the while shutting down Tony Gonzalez for the most part. His return makes me even more optimistic about this defense’s potential.

As for Jenkins, not much to say other than that he played very well. He had a great pick and made some really good hits. Plus, he also showed to be pretty good at open-field tackling. If he keeps improving, this Cowboys defense will only get better.

If I had a nickel for every Super Bowl the Eagles have won, I would have zero nickels.

For the most part...

This secondary looks very strong…

At corner Jenkins is looking better every week, Scandrick is solid, Newman is still good (despite what some here think) and even Ball has looked good when he’s gotten on the field. How many teams are actually 4 deep at CB?

Hamlin is solid and Sensi really is looking like a great pickup. Plus there’s guys behind them with some talent.

Best group we’ve had in ages in this secondary

I agree with every thing you say except T. Newman is still good, he sucks and sucks some more! The guy cannot cover and will not tackle! Oh no, he is not good, he is going to be our downfall, just you watch!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say

It’s quite nice to not be getting torched by the deep bombs of yesteryear….

I really believe Sensi has become a big upgrade over Roy Williams. Our pass rush finally stepping it up is helping out big time, too.

Isn't it ironic

that Sensa is now compensating for Hamlin?

Just imagine if we'd signed Sharper a few seasons ago

I was really hoping for it when GB let him go.

Are you ready for some football???

if not for Hamlin’s big contract

Sensi is key

I was saying in the offseason that Sensi’s signing may have been the most important overall for the team because up to this point Wade has had to adjust his defensive schemes to compensate for poor coverage skills in the safety position, but with Sensi in there it allows Wade to pull out all the stops and unleash the full potential of his aggressive 3-4 schemes. I think we’re seeing that come to fruition now, and the Falcons came is a great example of how all the pieces work together with the front 7 and the DBs. They really took Ryan out of his game and neutralized Gonzalez, which bodes very well for some of the other receiving TE threats we will have to face down the stretch (inc. Shockey and Gates).

Brooking has obviously been huge as well, and Igor seems to be doing a fine job plugging up the run on his side, but I still think Sensi is really a huge key to this defense taking their play to a truly elite level.
