Cowboy Fans in Connecticut
howdy all,
for the first time this year looks like our game this week against Seattle will not be on any of the major stations we get here in the Fairfield County area of Connecticut. Via prime time games and two Fox and two CBS stations (one each from Connecticut and New York) we, in this area, have had the luxury of all 6 games so far.
Not this week though...
Is anyone else out there here in Connecticut in the same boat?
I will be headed out to a local sport bar (probably either Black Bear in Norwalk or Stamford) to watch the game this week.
Post if you are in same boat and maybe we can get a following...
take it easy...
Steve

Steve...
I’m here in CT myself, live in Salem (SW of Hartford). We have a bar right down the road, but I’m willing to travel a bit to watch the game with some fellow Cowboys fans as well.

Brandon,
as i have been in CT for almost 28 years, what is kind of a good spot BETWEEN Salem and Norwalk? like Waterberry?
i will take a look on the map but that does not always tell a good story about how easy / hard i might be to get to somewhere between us.
I probably can’t get too far outside of my area (norwalk, stamford, up to fairfield / bridgeport) but I / we should at least look into it.

I'm also in CT
I’m going to school in New Haven. Me and a couple other students from Dallas usually get together to watch the Cowboys. The first game against TB wasn’t broadcast here, and we went right down the street to a Buffalo Wild Wings. I don’t have a car, but any CT Cowboys fans are certainly welcome to join us.

How early do you need to get there for a Noon game?

Probably like half an hour, just so you can see the pre-game stuff.
Last time we went it was crowded, but there were definitely places to sit throughout the game. Also they have a really good deal- $10 for all you can eat wings and fries.

I am not sure if i can get up to New Haven, but I will consider it. I tried to get a few of us together last year, but i had a 5 month old and it just did not work out…
for the same reason, only now i have a 17 month old, i might not be able to get that far out of the Norwalk, Stamford, possibly up to Bridgeport area.
let’s keep in touch here, if possible and see what happens…
thanks guys, steve….
