Bradie James: Pro Bowl or Bust
Hello Everyone for the first time! To be honest I'm not really a big blogger myself, do like to read them though, just not big on contributing. But for a first time I thought this definitely a worthy cause.
So Pro Bowl voting has opened and I think it's about time Bradie James gets to go to the show! I thought the fact he was left out last year was horrible and down right upsetting for a guy who may not be flashy but comes to play every time he steps on the field. He's had over 100 tackles the past 3 years, almost 4, which you can check out here http://www.nfl.com/players/bradiejames/careerstats?id=JAM110655, with sacks, pass deflections, and forced fumbles mixed in as well.
Now maybe that's not enough, but if not then I ask you what is? How about he's played/started every game for the Boys except 2 his rookie year? How about he's played along side a different MO (MIKE?) every year for what 3-4 years now and still produces? Or how about he's the heart and soul of his Defense? Ware might be a cornerstone and I'm glad he got his money...but I think it's time James got his well deserved recognition! And I'm tired of guys like Lance Briggs who cried about his contract and wanted to be traded so he could be the #1 LB on his squad or Albert Haynesworth who stomped on Gurode's head making it over higher character players like Bradie!
So this is it...probably the only blog you'll ever see me write....but I'm calling out all die hard Cowboys fans! Pro Bowl voting is open and it's WELL PAST TIME WE MAKE SURE ONE OF OUR OWN GETS WHAT HE DESERVES FOR PLAYING SO HARD FOR US!

it's probably going to be bust
he is a good starting linebacker who can makes some plays but he is not elite.
Willis, Beason, Fletcher, Lofton, and heck Brooking are better than him

I'm voting for him
But I don’t think he’ll get to Hawaii this season. I’d just like to see his own team’s fans quit dogging on the guy.
Willis will get one spot for certain, then it’s some variation of Ruud, Fletcher, Lofton, Beason, Briggs.
Are you ready for some football???

I think he would have a better chance in a 4-3
Most prowl bowl MLB’s come from 4-3, where you see more OLB’s come from 3-4.

He's solid, but not spectacular.
I don’t think he’s Pro Bowl level, but I do think he’s a solid starter. You can’t have a superstar at every position, and we don’t at his.

I'd say Brooking is more important to the team right now

I'm voting for him too but I also don't think he'll get it
He’s a better LB than what I usually give him credit for though. Pretty good for a 4th round draft pick.

Meh, Bradie's not a pro-bowl player
He’s solid against the run and a goodpass-rusher, but his coverage abilities are sorely lacking. He’s a slightly above-average linebacker overall.

James is not a pro-bowler....
Average to slightly above average for a ILB….good against the run, bad in coverage….really not an impact ILB which you would like to see from a 3-4 LB..A dominant ILB is what I think we are missing from this defense to make it a good to a really good defense…..most of the 3-4 teams in the league with excellent defenses have a very good ILB manning the middle. I would love for us to draft a stud 3-4 ILB next year to replace James at some point.

+1
Coach Winters: Mississippi State's offensive set. 2nd & 2 on our own 24, what defensive set might we call?
Alvin Mack: Eagle Zipper Hero, unless the setback shifts into the I.
Coach Winters: Good..[clicks to next slide], third and seven?
Alvin Mack: Oakie Thunder Lion. {What's your assignment?}
Alvin Mack: Kill the quarterback. {{Coach Winters clicks to next slide}}
Alvin Mack: Hit the tight end so hard his girlfriend dies. {{Coach Winters clicks to next slide}}
Alvin Mack: Kill everybody.

James is a good player. We don’t need to waste draft picks to replace a team leader. he almost made the pro bowl last year but i thin that was his peak
