Watching film paid off for the Cowboys' defense this week, particularly on the Eagles' short-yardage plays. Coach Phillips talked about the success they had in shifting the defensive ends in over the guards. "(Nose tackle Jay) Ratliff played it real well in there too," Phillips said. "We moved everybody inside." Phillips said video showed the Eagles usually called a quarterback sneak over right guard in fourth-and-one situations. "That's the play we had worked on," he said. "(McNabb) is a strong quarterback, and they have run a lot of sneaks for first downs, especially on fourth down. So we had a special defense ready for that." Phillips said the Eagles tipped their hand when they lined up on fourth-and-one from their own 42 in the third quarter.
