He also backed his refs by saying this was a 1st down in the Browns/Steelers game.

I can see for miles and miles and miles and miles and miles...

I know...
He pretty much NEVER disagrees with a call on the field. It’s extremely rare, which is pretty much makes it that much clearer that McNabb did indeed blow that call.
Did you even read the article you posted?
He said that may have not even been enough for a 1st down.
The Eagles suck, FYI.

Figures you would wait to show back up on this site
Until you have some ammo for your whining. There were bad calls on both sides and after your months and months of smack talking, the cowboys beat the iggles at the linc.
Man up and deal with it.
Quit your boo-hooing already BiDawk
Your Iggles are not as good as you thought, and the Cowboys are much better than you thought. End of story!
You can't stop Patrick Crayton, you can only hope to contain him.
I respect bye dawks knowledge of the game but calling this win tainted is just insane and he comes off sounding like a sore loser..
Dallas also got screwed on that non PI call on roy williams in the endzone which samuels just grabbed his left arm which cost dallas 7 points…So it works both ways its not a one way street here…Regarding the 4th and 1…The eagles had 3 chances to convert a first down by gaining 1 lousy yard and struggled too do it…Give dallas some credit and stop blaming the refs for your teams lack of execution..Dallas showed there the better team sunday night…I seen you bash there o line which has played very well and I have seen you bash there secondary including jenkins who also has played very well..Bother way jenks will be a star cb in this league..Oh bother way…spencer who u bash on occasion played very very well sunday. I understand spence still has not gotten a sack but he is starting to make plays for this defense..
I also saw those pics regarding the placement of the ball on the iggles blog and even if the ref placed it where it should have been it still is short…so stop ur crying
One place where the Eagles might have us beat
watching the game again, I must say you’ve got some really cute cheerleaders. Maybe even nicer to look at than the Cowboys, which is almost blasphemy but true I think… at least one thing you’ve got going for you! lol
You know what feels really good right now?
Being 6-2 as opposed to 5-3.
And I’m still pissed they didn’t call pass interference on Asante Samuel. You guys got screwed out of a couple of inches(supposedly. I still think it was the right call), we got screwed out of 4 points. If you guys think a couple if inches lost the game for your Eagles, you’re sorely mistaken.
Epic Fail since 1985
this is a joke
I think everyone realized the spot was bad, but they never said it was a first in this article. Looking at where the first down line ended up being, McNabb ended up landing short of it – its a question of forward progress when he was falling, but its no sure thing. Maybe you got it by an inch or two, maybe you missed it by an inch, its really tough tell. There looked like a good chance his other arm was down too.
You guys lost cause you couldn’t pick up what should’ve been an easy fourth down with your 6 ‘5 LB sized qb without leaving it up to the refs. In fact, you couldn’t pick up yards in short yardage situations all night. So much for that great run blocking oline eh?
Tainted? Honestly, you weren’t a guy I expected of whining about bad calls.
The most blatantly wrong call of the night was the no PI call on Samuel, which was clear as day.
I missed this fanpost earlier in the week, but...

The first down was just outside the beak. The spot was definitely bad, but he still would of been short even if they moved it.
the argument (and its legit)
has been that he had forward progress right at the first down marker.
It really is IMPOSSIBLE to tell, and i think it should’ve been a 50/50 call based on the refs judgement. The spot was awful though. Also, there was no way replay would overturn the initial call.
In the picture, the first down actually ended up being at the far end of the yellow line.
