because they lost to the Buccaneers starting a rookie QB in his 1st game

But teams...
Do that in the FNG NFL!!!
No games are easy, and just because you are better doesn’t mean you are going to necessarily kick the crap out of someone.
Jeez

I think the reason aikman sounds so negative
is cause he has high expectations for this team
yea, I've kinda picked up on that too.
He can’t give a compliment or critique without voicing how they are capable of so much more.
by Austin Bryan on Nov 15, 2009 4:53 PM CST up reply actions
Most of us expected the Pack to come out swinging
the Boys just need to keep their heads and execute a little more sharply.

Is the O-line in shambles because Colombo is gone?
Does he really make that much of a difference?

i mean its 3rd and 19 to 3rd and 24. w/e. get some yards and punt and pin them deep.

yeah if they lose the ball on a challenge
they can accept the penalty

coming into the game..
Green bay was the 4th ranked defense in the league yardarge wise…
They’re pretty good. Our O-line looks terrible..but a good D line and losing an anchor like Columbo will do that..

On O
we need to use Barber more its only 0-3. Run him to the left then screen to Jones or Austin. Maybe even Williams.

I’m impressed. They got it right.
We’re not exactly getting lucky this game.
It's raining in Dallas and my freaking Direct TV went out. Anybody have a connection

Thanks

GB is getting away with a lot of holding today
There’s no way that slug Grant gets the corner otherwise

Aikman is always critical of the Cowboys
because he has had a front row seat to Jerry’s meddling and mismanagement for 20 years
by jerryfireyourGM on Nov 15, 2009 5:09 PM CST reply actions
i agree
it goes back to the stuff with Jimmy and Norv. Aikman can’t stand Jerry or the way he runs the team
by jerryfireyourGM on Nov 15, 2009 5:11 PM CST up reply actions
great rush, gotta bring him down
that was a good play by rodgers.
Good coverage downfield.
we suck
right now

I'd bet Austin dropped a couple knotches on the trust board
when he didn’t go after that pass.
need a big play maybe felix
Texas Stadium has a hole in the roof so God can watch his favorite team play football.
Yeah but it wasn't a horsecollar.
You pretty much have to grab right behing the jersey to get that.
by The Immortal Iron Fist AKA AFB on Nov 15, 2009 5:11 PM CST up reply actions
and pull him STRAIGHT down
if you sling him down, its not a horse collar regardless of where you grab him.
Its meant to stop those leg injuries which only happen when you pulled a guy straight down
Isn't it still legal to horsecollar within the pocket?? and between the tackles??
You can do a lot of things in life. You can't stab a teammate with a pair of scissors. - Kevin Smith
Offense needs to do something
Bring in Choice! or something, I don’t know lol.
Okay, 80 yards in six plays for the TD. GO COWBOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Family, Friends, Cowboys, Beer & BBQ. Life is good!
I can't help but have an OK feeling about this - our O. is normally WAY more explosive
then their O. – they’ve still scored only 3 points….I just have a hard time believing they’re going to goose egg our O – we should be good for at least one TD….and that might just be enough to win this game
by Loozeeana_Cowboy on Nov 15, 2009 5:12 PM CST reply actions
Yeah
there is still alot of game left
by The Immortal Iron Fist AKA AFB on Nov 15, 2009 5:12 PM CST up reply actions
just like the Raider game
This is a jackal and Hyde team
Crayton!
gonna break one yet… I guess maybe he has to wait until it’s the play to put the nail in the coffin lol
Green Bay's great D
Didn’t Tampa score 38 on these scrubs it was TAMPA BAY!!!!
We need someone to step and make a play...
Austin, Roy, Crayton, Felix… let’s go…
trying to hard to ge austin in the game there
RUN THE BALL.
Back to being the biggest trade bust in Cowboys history
You can do a lot of things in life. You can't stab a teammate with a pair of scissors. - Kevin Smith
I WANT TO HEAR IT!!!
I’m sick and tired of the excuses for Williams. Tell me how a pass that HITS HIM IN THE FACE is un-catchable!
Green Bay D
Minnesota scored 38 on them, Tampa Bay get 38, Dallas? 0
Choice!!!
he better be down..
that was a GREAT play by romo.
Are you kidding me??????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Witten hasn't done crap all game and then this??
You can do a lot of things in life. You can't stab a teammate with a pair of scissors. - Kevin Smith
So at some point, do you consider benching Roy Williams?
I don’t see why not. He needs to be sent a message. This isn’t Austin.
so last week its a good play and this week its not?
ridiculous.
Not an awful playcall but very poorly executed
If Romo's receivers would make a play
we wouldn’t be saying that
The hell he is. Romo is allowed a bad pass once in a while. He's playing
hard and his line and receivers are not getting it done.
+100000000000
You can do a lot of things in life. You can't stab a teammate with a pair of scissors. - Kevin Smith
WHERE IS THE QUICK SLANT
I still don’t understand why this isn’t in the playbook. The quick pressure is killing this offense.
the only thing keeping us in the game is the defense
"Austin made the play, Austin saved the day" Brad Sham
At least Romo looks pissed coming off the field
Guy needs help in a bad way. He’s playing his ass off.
Yes we do...HELLUVA GAME......
You'll never get in a traffic jam, while going the extra mile. -Roger staubach
through 2 and a half quarters
we’ve been very slightly outplayed. I wouldn’t say that.
Theres still a lot of game left.
Is it me, or is RW a total waste of a roster spot.
Family, Friends, Cowboys, Beer & BBQ. Life is good!
he complains about not getting good passes.......if would catch one......he might have more thrown his way
Wow, where is our offense.....
we are not executing at all
On a good note
Phil has got 3 FG, too bad SD has 3 TD
IF WE SCORE
10 POINTS
WE WIN

by dcfansinceiwasababy on Nov 15, 2009 5:20 PM CST reply actions
cmon
the play calling is not the problem. The problem is our O line looks pourous and our receivers can’t catch
I hate injuries
especially big ones against a team we should just destroy
"Aw Shucks" - Wade Phillips
Yeah, we can't get blockers out there and they always sniff it out
You can do a lot of things in life. You can't stab a teammate with a pair of scissors. - Kevin Smith
Blasted Larry and his old timey voodoo curses.
He was the one who brought up the injury bug catching up with them, wasn’t he?
how the heck are we getting dominated??????????
Our receivers aren’ catching thebal and they can’t stop getting penalties.
We’re playing very similarly
ugly ugly ugly
tough to watch.. injuries, fumbles and drops
Coach Winters: Mississippi State's offensive set. 2nd & 2 on our own 24, what defensive set might we call?
Alvin Mack: Eagle Zipper Hero, unless the setback shifts into the I.
Coach Winters: Good..[clicks to next slide], third and seven?
Alvin Mack: Oakie Thunder Lion. {What's your assignment?}
Alvin Mack: Kill the quarterback. {{Coach Winters clicks to next slide}}
Alvin Mack: Hit the tight end so hard his girlfriend dies. {{Coach Winters clicks to next slide}}
Alvin Mack: Kill everybody.
We pay garrett way to much for us to be shutout this far in the game
let Romo sling it 5 wide try some patriot action

Let's back away from the cliff.
Brad said it right. We thought we might split these two games but we already won the first so now we deserve the second. Keep the faith
If Brooking doesn't make that play we're screwed

why are we so bad on third ad long? makes no sense.

we popped grant there
aother third and long. LETS GO. THis is why the defense has ben on he field so long, they’re great the first two downs then can’t stop third and long
Here it is. Our bane. 3rd and long and now Hamlin is hurt. I forgot he got paid already

while the Packers were looking ahead to us??? A loss is in the making.
Not for much longer
You can do a lot of things in life. You can't stab a teammate with a pair of scissors. - Kevin Smith
I still don't get why we don't have that play in our playbook
especially with the immense pressure on Romo today
Because no other D plays 10 yards off the WR like ours does
You can do a lot of things in life. You can't stab a teammate with a pair of scissors. - Kevin Smith
I think it is better for the D to be on the field
more likely to score than the O at the moment

Dude how can you say that ....
the score is 3 – 0 … our d has played well up until now … blame the O for not getting them off the field
It's obvious that they slacked off today on offense. The protection isn't there.
Whether that’s on the players or the scheme doesn’t matter. Someone needs a dose of reality either way
pride isn't the problem
injuries and dropped passes are.
i'm feeling sick
losing the game would be one thing… losing Columbo and our starting secondary is almost worse
No almost about it!
Injuries are the worst part of this game so far.
