NFL Officiating
I'm not complaining much about the officiating today -- it all comes out in the wash, most of the time. Today, GB beat us good with a good amount of help from ourselves and the injury bug.
What I want to share is this: http://www.nola.com/saints/index.ssf/2009/09/timespicayune_analysis_of_last.html
It's pretty fascinating, and the search engine of their data is pretty enlightening too.
I suggest taking the time to read it and comment here, if you want.

NFL Officiating
is absolutely a black eye on the game and it is appalling that every week at least one game goes the wrong way due to bad calls. I say this in the Giants’ bye week of a season that the refs have not cost us any games. Hello, NFL, get full-time, professional referees for the biggest sport in America. Not these part-time hacks.
You play to win the game!
meh
I generally didn’t have a problem with nfl officiating in our games before the last two – its been awful. Blatant easy calls missed all over the place. Spots that are ridiculously short. etc.
But compared to other sports – there is so much more going on in the nfl than baseball, and baseball just had a disaster of an october in terms of officiating.
NBA is always a mess too.

technology...
Officiating have always been bad, but the technology and replay camera are really starting to expose them…
