Ken Hamlin, as expected, is going to miss some time with his high ankle sprain.

Ken Hamlin will miss 2-4 weeks with a high right ankle sprain, leaving his job open for either Alan Ball or Patrick Watkins.

I say Ball wins the job

Watkins is a stud ST guy, but as a safety he’s really not that good.

Any word on MB? Is he going to miss time with his broken thumb?

i've been asking for this for some

Time! I hope Alan Ball steps up to the plate…..too many time Hamlin looks for the big hit and he ALWAYS goes for the play-fake. We really need to sign another corner though

i almost forgot

Ken Hamlin played for the Cowboys! I never hear his name called during the game

by dhop on Nov 17, 2009 10:07 AM CST via mobile reply actions

agreed

The Dallas D has done a good job of limiting the big plays. 10 of GB’s 17 came off turnovers..

I like where our D is headed it isn’t elite, but it is solid. We will miss Hamlin. Hopefully Ball steps in right away and helps. I like the fact he is converted corner..

Passing game of Redskins and Raiders up next...

I don’t think we will miss Hamlin that much. Give Ball a chance.

by CowboyCurtis on Nov 17, 2009 11:07 AM CST up reply actions

absolutely

Hamlin’s injury couldn’t have come at a better time with two of the worse passing teams in the league next on our schedule.

report that Coombo is out for the season

I saw a scroll on ESPN saying that MC was done for the season but cannot find any reports to that effect

Come on, y'all.

Broken fibula and ligament surgery would take an absolutely minimum of 6 to 8 weeks just to get back up on it, much less back in playing shape. You don’t need ESPN to tell you he’s done for the year.

+1 I said that Sunday.

He’s well over 300 lbs too. See ya next year.

if alan ball starts

Who is your forth corner? Alan Rossom?

by dhop on Nov 17, 2009 12:29 PM CST via mobile reply actions

nooo..

Only way the 4th db comes into play is with injury and if that happens Ball will surely slide over and the young Hamlin will come in at safetly
