Atlanta wasn't running
open in the secondary against us…
wow, that was easy
Saints definitely doesn’t have a great defense, we should be able to put 30 on them.
In Romo we Trust
I usually use this one, but it's not popping up for me. Maybe you'll have better luck.

hmmmm...Brees didn't protect the ball
and cost the Saints a TD, wonder if the Saints fans will start ragging on him.
In Romo we Trust
I don't remember
Did Atlanta blitz a lot last week?
They’re getting pressure on Brees though, he’s taken some pretty big hits already.
DeCoud did have one sack on Romo...
it didn’t cause a fumble…
Gotta love fantasy football
Except when I’m counting on White in one league and facing him with a small lead in another.
FML
I've got Gonzales
and currently a 12-point lead against Brees and Shockey. I don’t really like my chances lol. but that INT helped!
Saints Defense/Cowboys Defense
which looks better so far versus Falcons…
our D is looking good but I would try and win the game vs saints on D
They’d kills us……that’ll have to be a helluva a shootout for us to win it….our offense will have to match theirs.
I think our corners are better than Atlanta's
Atlanta’s corners are making plays tonight and even on completions they seem to be closer to the NO receivers than they were to our receivers…
I think Miles can toast the NO corners...
Porter didn’t look very convincing versus Roddy on that slant route…
This Saints offense will give the Dallas D a game.
Can we afford to go into a shootout with these guys?
~Texas Massacre '09~
we need to force Brees into turnover mode
birthmark face is a midget. Just control the passing lanes and blitz a lot up the middle. He won’t be able to see anything downfield.
That's the problem though.
He doesn’t turn the ball over much. I know he is less effective in the pocket since he is a short QB and he likes to move around alot so he can see down the field.
~Texas Massacre '09~
I can't figure out how Alanta has won anything
I’ve watched them twice now, they’re pathetic
Just becuz you put yer boots in the oven don't make it bread

They are actually playing better versus the Saints
than the Eagles did…
The Interception... Am I blind...
But didn’t Vilma flagrantly interfere with Roddy on that slant…
On the replay
the ball is still in the air when Vilma steps in front of Roddy and impedes his route…
On the bright side
I really wanted the Saints to lose, but it’s better for us that they don’t. They really need to think they can’t lose, peak way too soon, get Atlanta out of the wild card hunt, get it over. I just can’t stand the hard on these jerks on ESPN have for Drew Brees. Barf bag needed

It's working for him, but I wonder
how much longer he can get away with throwing jump balls to well covered receivers. I just hope he tries some of those throws against Jenkins…
Just 9 more points between Brees and Michael Turner
and I’ve got myself a FF victory.
Can’t believe I scored 140 in one league and lost because I played the 1-6 guy whose team just happened to blow up for 156 this week.

In the BTB league
I have the second least points this week, but my opponent has the least. But Its Drew Brees vs Matt Ryan and im only ahead by 4.

In my league, I’m 6-1 — and playing the only other 6-1 team tonight.
He’s got NO’s defense and Roddy White. I’ve got Pierre Thomas.
I’m up by 20 — but you never know.
Lookig a bit closer now..

What is the problem with the dolphins?? No qb, mr tuna had a shot at Matt ryan last year, but chose jake long. Wonder what he would do, if he had a do over. Not a knock on long, just curious.

ridiculously tough schedule
they played @atl, Indy, @San Diego, Jets, @Jets, Buffalo and NO
No matter who wins this game... I'm feeling really good about our Defense
from the line to the secondary…
Westbrook Update
The implication Sunday, after the Birds balsted the Giants, was that Reid was being extra-cautious holding Westbrook out of that game, and that he probably would play against the Cowboys this coming Sunday night, but Reid clearly wasn’t saying anything close to definitive today.
Westbrook “woke up with a slight headache” Saturday, Reid said. He worked out without complications Friday following a battery of tests through the week.

I dont think it's be about westbrook
if we get to McCrapp and play disciplined on offense with no mistakes, we could win.
Falcons
some tried to say they were overrated and not really a good test of the Cowboys.
How do they look now? Regardless of the final outcome, they’ve hung tough with what most would say is one of the top 2 teams in the league.
The Saints D SUCKS!
Before tonight, I was up 44 points in my fantasy game. Now, I’m only up by 3 points because the Saints cannot stop either White or Turner.
~Texas Massacre '09~
I was just curious and went and looked up some of their D stats
from previous games… They are not the reason the Saints have been winning. They give up a lot of yards…
The only reason this defense is even talked about is because they get sacks and cause turnovers.
That’s it.
~Texas Massacre '09~
+1

Does anyone else think that Gruden is a clown, he was in a joker mask on the pregame show doing some
show bit about how Shockey or someone was the joker. Is he a HC or the new lee corso.
Ignore the Mainstream Media, EMBRACE THE HATE!!!!
He never seems to have anything negative to say...
He’s also much too happy…
I enjoy him honestly
Watching Tony Kornheiser and Joe Buck called games..its nice seeing a guy who is knowledgeable and enjoys football games. Kinda like Madden a little (but not really).
someone should
Have marked my words. In a perfect world the saints lose, and we don’t lose, and head into that match up with the #1 seed on the line. Its ok to dream big.

Colston has been playing with Brees in the best offensive system in the league for years
Roy has been playing with Romo for a year. Give it time.

I am.
I’m not discrediting Roy. I do believe that once he gets in rhythm with Romo, this offense will be even more unstoppable. I just wished it was sooner than later though.

I actually think that
Roy is faster than Colston. If he weren’t deluded by his own speed, I think he might just use his size more…
I'm not going to give up on Roy yet...
I think he will make some big plays for us… Long term, however, I do think there isn’t as much upside to his game as there is to Ogletree’s. On one play in the last game Ogletree showed that…
Only up by 1
dont throw an Int Ryan.

Was a good night
I think its a little ridiculous to be thinking about the #1 seed with the saints incredibly easy remaining schedule and an easy schedule for ATL too. We’d need to finish around 8-1 or 7-2 to get the 1 seed. seriously.
also #1 seed means nothing come playoff time.Year in and year out we see hot #3-6 seed teams beating them on their homefield. I don’t think this year will be any different.
The important thing is making the playoffs and the atl loss gives us a 2 game lead over them at the moment.
I still think that Homefield is an advantage
though you’re right, what is more important is getting hot at the end of the year.
The Knights season may have just ended, but the Cowboys year is just begining!
by aussie_cowboy on Nov 2, 2009 10:58 PM CST up reply actions
nothing is ridiculous
The saints could lose to the pats, and be upset by another team, see the dolphins game last week. The tougher part would be running the table for the boys. However, if, huge if, they do that would satisfy the worry about them being hot going into the playoffs. It seems that the boys are getting better every week, so while very unlikely, it is not IMPOSSIBLE. Shoot for the moon, end up with the stars.

If the Center goes down
who will keep all those tall rushers from getting in the midget’s face…
This sort of reminds me of that buffalo game a couple of years ago
unfortunately for them they don’t have Romo to lead them on a game winning drive
This scene
is not good for football… NO makes football look sleazy…
Oh well...
Feeling even better about our team after this game…
ugh I have to pick up my lady friend from the airport at 8
I figure I can at least watch the second half of the Eagirls game.
Fantasy wise, that was the craziest ending ever
I started out with a 16 point lead and Gonzo, against Brees and Shockey
With that final TD, my opponent finally took a 1.3 point lead, and after the 4th down I thought I was done for sure.
Then miraculously, they get a fumble and Gonzo gets one more catch, and I win by 1.47 points!
Bless you, Coy Wire, you may not have won them the game, but you won me my fantasy matchup lol
+1
I lost it on the Matt Ryan fumble, but when that was overtunred I ended up winning by 1.

Before the game
I was up by 2 on my opponent. But I had Shockey and he had Roddy White. Man, I wished Shockey had caught that TD instead of White – that lost it for me.
Winning takes talent, to repeat takes character. - John Wooden
Well I sure was wrong
And the Falcons looking so strong in the second half on D and forcing them to punt and punt and punt and sacking Drew Brees, intercepting him, forcing fumbles on him and the other guy sure gives me hope about our Boys against them.
The Falcons sure did a lot better against the Saints than they did against us. That’s gotta mean something.

That was terrible announcing...
If I had a nickel for every Super Bowl the Eagles have won, I would have zero nickels.
I hate when ESPN has games on their network.
I love NFL Primetime with them, because I like Ditka, Carter, Jackson, and Boomer. Keyshawn is a little annoying, but it’s not that bad.
Who in the world thought having Matt Millen on their network would be a good idea? He’s horrible! He doesn’t have any idea of how to win a football game, which should be the most obvious thing in the world. I hate hearing him talk, and having that stupid smile as if his team went 16-0 instead of 0-16.
Bleh. Sorry for the rant, but it just makes me, and i’m hoping the rest of you guys, feel so lucky that we get to see a couple of good announcers from time to time. I really do like Aikman as an announcer, especially with that new guy who is with him while Joe Buck does the world series. They’d make a good team.
It makes me miss Madden. I really did like that guy. Okay, night all. lol.
