highlights? highlights!!?

there were highlights from that game? lol

I usually enjoy going back and rewatching the games, especially the wins, but this one was so bereft of highlights and so full of frustration it won’t even provide much rewatching pleasure. but it was a W, and that’s what counts.

Any division win is a good win.

Good teams win these ugly close games, so I’m sure they’ll take it.

39 years since last win scoring only 7 points

Timmy Mac @ ESPN Dallas

Sunday’s 7-6 win over the Washington Redskins was the second time in franchise history that the Cowboys won a game scoring seven or fewer points. The other occasion was a 6-2 win over the Cleveland Browns in Dec. 1970.

Not true

It may be the 2nd REGULAR SEASON game Dallas won scoring 7 or less, but they won a divisional playoff game over the Lions 5-0 that same month.

Two weeks after that Browns win, if I remember correctly

That Cleveland game was in a rainstorm. A total mudbowl.

If you think today’s game was ugly, you never saw that Lions game. Craig Morton was something like 5 of 13 passing for about 45 yards.

anytime a football score looks more like a baseball or soccer score

that’s pretty ugly.

thanks for helping provide some good perspective lol

I think that any football is good football
So I took what I could get mmh,
Oooh, oooh Tony looked the safety off with his eyes
And said:
You ain’t seen nothin’ yet,
B-B-B-Barber, you just ain’t seen nothin’ yet,
Here’s something that you never gonna forget,
B-B-B-Bennett, you just ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

full version here… written in preseason, but maybe need to update it, and hopefully write a version of Takin’ Care of Business after a few more games lol

We got away with one

On the TD pass to Crayton, both Gurode and Kosier were about 5 yards downfield. Should’ve been a penalty.

Yeah.

They owed us for that debacle before halftime, though.

by Baked Potato Soup on Nov 23, 2009 10:03 AM CST up reply actions

and there were a lot of calls against us

that shouldn’t have been penalties, it all evens out in the end.

In Romo we Trust

I know

Just shudder to think if it HAD been called. Yikes…
