Romo's interceptions
Do you know what Romo's interception percentage is right now?
It's 1.9 percent, with 7 picks on 359 attempts. Pretty impressive stuff. And it's not like Romo just throws dink-and-dunk passes either, like other QBs who have lower int % but who's names have been changed to protect the weak-armed wusses.
1.9 percent is Aikman-esque. And of course 3 of Romo's 7 interceptions were in the Giants game. Take away that game and his int % is a minscule 1.2%. I for one am looking forward to next week's game, to see if Romo can redeem his earlier play, and continue his virtually mistake-free play.

Romo the ball protector, whouldathunkit?
In each of his previous 3 seasons, Romo has managed only 3 INT free games.
So far this season, he has 6 INT-free games. The last time the Cowboys had more INT free games in a season was 1999 (8 INT free games), when Aikman was still under center.

Dear Terry
I am secretly in love with you!
Love,
DavidH22
Dear David,
I’m seriously had a crush on you too!
What a great post!
Terry
Terry,
Our guy gets WAY too little credit! I mean, c’mon! His BACK was hurt!!!
David
David,
Totally — and his passes were on target. It’s mostly just the receivers letting him down.
Tony’s passes are almost perfect all the time. I keep trying to tell all my friends that — they won’t listen.
Love,
Terry
Terry,
Don’t worry. I keep trying to tell my friends that, too! They won’t listen either.
Tony is HOF material. It doesn’t matter what we do in January, February or May. Why do they keep talking about all those months and golfing and Jessicas???
I don’t get it.
Anyway, I love your posts!
Love, David
David, love —
It’s because they don’t understand how great Tony really is! He’s our savior.
We shouldn’t be pressuring him to step up and be a leader, because he IS who he IS. He stats prove it!
Love you too,
Terry
My loving Terry,
I do agree, Terry, but. . .I am worried about the December thing.
And has Tony ever won a playoff game?
I’m getting questions in my head now. Can you help? I don’t want to jump off the wagon here, but. . .
Help??
Yours,
David
David,
It is clear you do not believe in and love Tony as I do.
I am not sure we can continue this relationship.
Terry
But Terry,
I thought we HAD something here!? Help??
David
David,
My heart is reserved for only one man.
I long to be with him in January.
Terry
Terry,
So it’s. . .you? Not Jessica
David
David,
It’s true. It’s me.
I jinx him. We cuddle and watch the playoffs.
That’s my formula.
Terry
Terry,
Do you really love the Cowboys?
David
David,
I like the Cowboys. I love Romo. But mostly I like “alone time” with him.
Terry
Terry,
I thought I actually LIKED you! Ewww!!
I hate you.
David
David,
You were awesome at cheer camp. Wish we could’ve hooked up.
T
Terry,
See you next summer. Can we meet?
Love,
Dav

Yeah, I did regret this
I was too mean. No excuses. Glad you thought it was funny, but I hope to not do it again.
Well, yeah
I tried to add a little humor and levity here, Huff. My Mom and only bro both passed away in the past 20 days. Hit me like a hammer.
Not really sure how to feel right now — I’m paralyzed.
That doesn’t excuse bad behavior — but maybe it explains me sounding random?
And yeah, maybe I just sound bored. I am. And numb. Whatever.
Wow, so sorry to hear that...
My sincere condoloences.

Thanks, 5Blings
You make me feel young, old man. ;)
Thank you too
But damn you, I get hungry every time. Please stop! ;)
Romo is maturing as NFL qb
I told everyone it’s a maturation process but everyone is too impatient. The kid is special and now everyone is beginning to see what I’ve seen all along.
In Romo we Trust
THAT'S CRAZY!!!!!

Terry
I am sorry if I was a little harsh with my juvenile humor here. I was just poking fun, passing time, and escaping a little.
I value your intelligence, and your passion, too. I might think that you’re a BIT too Romo-happy, but nonetheless, I enjoy reading your thoughts. :)
I hope I didn’t offend (not that you care) and I wish our Boys all the best — just like you, and everyone else here.
he truly has matured
its great to see. With this defense and this qb, I think we will have a lot better chance in December than in years past.
and keep in mind that one was a miscommunication against denver, one was a fourth down play last week where there was little to lose…has he had any red zone INTs? There’ve been some forced ball, and some ones he got away with for sure, but thats the same with many qbs.
On top of that, hes holding the ball much better. Sometimes it may be for too long, but thats debatable – it would be good if our oline could help him out and if he hadn’t been completely blindsided by some guys flo let by.
and another RZ pick to Kenny Phillips in game 2 vs. NYG
Romo’s RZ total: 8 TDs, 2 INT

You're right
the DEN pick was in the RZ, the NYG pick wasn’t.
now where is that darn edit button when you need it…

I think Romo's last pick occurred in the red zone
(the ill-advised bomb to Hurd, thrown from the 50 to the 20)), but the DB ran it out to like the 35.
I don't think that counts as a redzone INT
"We have to find a way to play better, there's no doubt. Overall. I'm not pointing fingers at anybody. Offense, defense, pitching -- we have to find a way to play better. The reality of this is, coming here to Pittsburgh and being swept -- personally, I feel embarrassed." -- Carlos Beltran
Btw Charles Woodson is having an incredible season
and a Hall of Famer in the 3+ years since the Packers picked him up from the Raiders – 26 ints and 7 defensive TDs…Jesus.
2 million dollars
to a childrens hospital at Michigan state…. What a great guy to have around the NFL. Exciting, tough, and a philanthropist…

and
as the old adage goes, theres a reason these guys are cbs and not wrs. Most cbs aren’t gonna make INTs unless they just plot into their hands. Theres some exceptions – Woodson and Bailey are obvious ones.
