Austin glove change?
After seeing these highlights, I noticed that Miles had black gloves on that look thinner than those white ones. Did they address that in the telecast?

Not that I heard
Things I liked:
- Return of the big play O, from both Run and Passing games
- Solid game by Romo, re-emergence of Felix as a home-run threat
- Good kickout block by Free on Miles TD
Some concerns:
- Slow start, esp Run D
- Nick Fold
- Ball gave up 2 big plays
Overall, very pleased to be were we are. If we have any chance of going 3-2 in DEC, must win @ NYG
Always be more than you appear and never appear to be more than you are
I’m not as worried about the run D starting slowly because of the short week and the odd blocking scheme. They got the advantage in scheme early, but that went away as do most schemes.
Ball is a backup and doing pretty well. The Cowboys gave up 7 points with him in there. I’ll take that. Yes, the Raiders aren’t great, but still, let’s be reasonable.
Nick Folk has been extremely unlucky this year and long term I really am not worried about him. How many times has he hit the uprights? 2? 3? Yes, he’s not had a good year by his standards but he’s not doing as poorly as you might think. He’s 25th in the NFL, which obviously is pretty bad, in FG pct. but of his 6 misses, 5 are from the 40-49 range. Again, as I recall, he’s hit the uprights at least twice, so if he hits those two (a difference of 4 inches from 40 yards), then his percentage is around 81 putting him middle of the pack. In other words, yes, he’s off, but not by much and I have no confidence in Buehler because I’m sure Joe D can compare the two in practice and they’ve not hinted at a change.
