Cowboys @ Eagles Injury Update
From ESPNDallas:
Marion Barber (thumb), Jay Ratliff (knee), Allen Rossum (hamstring), Gerald Sensabaugh (thumb) and DeMarcus Ware (foot) were on the injury report. Only Rossum did not practice, and don't expect him to play Sunday at Philadelphia.
We did notice that Rossum was wearing a practice jersey.
Also, Miles Austin, who tweaked his groin during the Seattle game last Sunday, isn't on the injury report.
Make the jump.

Even if Rossum gets healthy
You cant take the PR job away from Crayton now can you?
The Knights season may have just ended, but the Cowboys year is just begining!

It's certainly seems as though it's his...
However, the fumbled punt (which he recovered) this weekend, reminded me that he still has his issues with returns.
He’s been fantastic the past couple games, but a muff against Philly could be disastrous. That being said, it’s still his for now, I’d assume.

yeah
You would have to keep Crayton on PR, but would be nice to have him on KR.
I want Felix touches to come on O.

considering he is leading the league in punt return average and touchdowns (maybe just the nfc, didn’t check), it would be pretty hard to sit the guy

I thought that Eagles OL is decimated, but the only ones that DNP are DL
unless the injured OL are on IR, anyone can shed a lite on it?

- LT – Jason Peters has been very good. He missed time during the Oakland game and they absolutely feasted on King Dunlap. That, in my opinion, was the biggest reason they lost that game. They’re set here for now though. Jason Peters may be the single most irreplaceable player on the Eagles.
- LG – Todd Herremans has missed most of the season so far, but is finally getting healthy. He played great last week vs NYG. In his absence, Nick Cole was just ok.
- C – Jamaal Jackson – No missed time.
- RG – OK, bear with me here. The starter going into the season was supposed to be Stacy Andrews. Unfortunately, he doesn’t know the plays… Seriously. Max Jean Gilles got most of the reps at RG early in the season, but now that Herremans is back at LG, Nick Cole will slide over and start at RG. However, Stacy Andrews sees playing time here as well. Got it? OK.
RT – Shawn Andrews was supposed to be our starting RT, but he… Well, I don’t even want to get into it. Anyway, he’s on the IR and hopefully never comes back to Philly… Ever. The starter is Winston Justice now, who I though would be a longshot to make the team. This was a nightmare scenario. Anyway, surprise surprise – Justice has been excellent. He gets a lot of help from the running backs and TE’s, but I still couldn’t be more pleased with the job he has done.
Hope that helps.

Thanks, dude.
Why would you be surprised about Justice? I thought he was a kid who still had potential and just needed time to develop.

This is his 4th year...
I forgive the Osi Umenyiora game to a degree – It was his first ever NFL start, and the Eagles stupidly left him on an island all night against Osi 1-on-1, and he should have never been put in that position. Nevertheless, his performance in that game was indefensible, and the stink of that game has followed him around ever since.
That game aside, as it says in the subject, this is Justice’s 4th year, and at some point you start to wonder when a guy is going to start contributing. The Eagles certainly didn’t think Justice was the answer this year. They signed Stacy Andrews away from Cincy to a 6 year, $39 million deal to play RG, with the intention of sliding younger brother Shawn Andrews out to RT, and that plan has completely blown up. Justice only got his opportunity out of absolute necessity, and he’s made the most of it. This analogy might be a be a stretch, but I guess he’s our version of Miles Austin this year (on a much lower scale, obviously).

bunkley has killed us in the past
that would be huge if he didn’t play.

He will play
Bunkley practiced today. The only guy on the Eagles’ injury list that there is real worry about is LB Chris Gocong. He missed a second day of practice. He’s probably our best run stopping LB. Hits gaps well. blows up the FB, generally very strong against the run and would be a tough guy to lose for this week.

We really haven't run well lately, but maybe they've just been playing possum to lead up for this game.

that's because teams have schemed to take our running game away
which is why Romo has been shredding opposing secondaries lately.
It will interesting to see which poison Philly chooses to die from, the pass or run.
