Alvin Mack: Eagle Zipper Hero, unless the setback shifts into the I.
Coach Winters: Good..[clicks to next slide], third and seven?

we have 3 or 4 sacks and 2 int's......this is a good team and they have scored 13 points.

I think it’s the offense that needs to start playing better against the blitz

Other teams send 5 out

when they anticipate an all out blitz. We max protect and send 2. RHG may want to look into sending everybody out. Our 2 receivers aren’t getting open quickly enough.

I thought some of the penalties on both sides were a little ticky tack.

Don't rub it in too bad.

He is pretty classy for an Eagles fan. Well heck rub it in anyway.

but i distinctly remember him saying how the NFC East was a two horse race- Philly and NY earlier in the season…

take it easy

it was a 2 horse race, but things change. remember 2 years ago, Dallas swept the Giants and Dallas was the best team in the NFC.

Great win. I couldn't blog towards the end. Those D stops 3rd and inches, 4th and less than inches, were the

deciding factor I believe. And the Romo/Austin connection seemed like it could have worked all night. I’m glad it did, when it did.

I will sit back and enjoy though.

on the road…best win since giants in 07 probably.

adrock, you are dead on

Dallas won and played better than the Eagles but there were plenty of mistakes and missed opportunities

by jerryfireyourGM on Nov 8, 2009 11:09 PM CST up reply actions

i think so too

we didn’t play our best today. But neither did Philly. Its been a litle sloppy at times, but we came through tonight.

by foyesboys on Nov 8, 2009 11:11 PM CST up reply actions

We didn't make as many mistakes as they did.

Asante Samuel need to get over his bell ringing or he will get run at for the rest of the year.

Play mistake free and we 8 winable games.

It will all come down to who makes the fewest mistakes. The Rams showed us that.

+1

but his accuracy has been much better than earlier in the year too

by foyesboys on Nov 8, 2009 11:13 PM CST up reply actions

still more accurate than the denver game and first half of the TB game

there were games where his only completions were to guys standing still. TOday he hit a ton of guys on slants.

Again…wasn’t his best game, but it was good

by foyesboys on Nov 8, 2009 11:15 PM CST up reply actions

Key point here is that he did not have his best game and we win solidly...

I hope the 3-4 interception games are a thing of the past and I see some stuff since the Denver game that leads me to believe this is happening…

The Eagles are not a bad team. They just made more mistakes. It was a very even match up. No one gave any ground in any phase of the game.

The biggest thing that did was run them out of time outs. Classic bad game management by Reid.

Sometimes I wonder how he is soooo successful. He must have the best collection of players in the league to make up for his ineptitude.

it was a big call i agree, but even if they got the call, they still had 50+ more yards to go to

score….when their corner grabbed (blatantly i might add) RW’s left arm in the end zone at the end of 2nd quarter, we stood to get a full 3 more chances to throw for the end zone…..from half the distance to the goal no less…that’s a much more legit scoring chance to me
