The new media-darlings?
For anyone that immediately turned on post-game coverage after the big victory in the city of brotherly love, this shouldn't come as a shock - but man, those media types are swallowing the Cowboys Kool-Aid now. To me, that game was literally a battle of inches and could have gone either way. In the end, we made one more big play than Philly and squeaked out a win. The victory was a big one, and wins on the road never come easy.
Now, this afternoon, Trent Dilfer and the rest of those ESPN idiots actually predicted us to win the division on SportsCenter today! We're hot, and people are falling for us like the prom queen.
Win or lose, we have the same team today that we had yesterday - suppose we had lost that game... how much different would the reaction on BSPN be? Can this team stay focused and keep rolling without playing the "nobody respects us" card, as Bradie James mentioned in his post game?
It's not like this is the first time Tony has had the Boys in a great position to win the division in November.

I wouldn't call us darlings
When every single positive statement every made about us is in front of “but they need to do it in december”

Here's the real opinion from the East Coast biased Mediots
From CBS Sports
If Philthy and the Giants had won, then it would be all hail the NFC BEast

wow
I can’t believe that guy has a job with a legitimate sports site (though CBS employs some questionable people for sure)
Who looks oh so great in the nfc after the Saints and Vikings? And I’m not convinced those teams will look so hot in december. We are a pretty clear 3rd, and after embarassing losses by the Packers and Bears, this division once again has a shot at getting 3 teams into the playoffs.

I totally forgot about AZ
but its hard to say they are certainly better than us, especially the way teams like us and philly can get to the qb and make a guy like warner struggle (maybe)

To be fair
Dilfer is no dummy. And he has actually been very complimentary of the Cowboys all year. I believe a couple week back he was talking about how a couple wins for us would make our NFC East counterparts sweat. So I’m cool with Dilfer.

You're right
He seems to be the exception on BSPN because he talks real football and doesn’t get caught up with this week’s hot ticket.
Watch your balls around most of the MSM because they knee jerk like nobody’s business.

take your pick
Men Seeking Men – how apt: ‘Watch your balls around most of the MSM’
Methodist Student Movement – yep, they’re ‘knee-jerk’ all right.
Miami Sound Machine – a ‘hot ticket’ in the 80’s
Murder, Scandal, Mayhem – no better definition exists
Mainstream Media

Sick
That’s what these people in the media are. They are a bunch of pansys that just follow what is hot. I am a big time Cowboys fan and have believed from the beginning. But from the perspective of these clowns in the media what is so different about this team than the team that lost in Denver? Both games were messy and i) in Denver we came a yard or so away from OT and maybe a victory and ii) in this game, we could have very easily lost it. In both cases, I felt like we had a strong team. But the clowns in the media couldnt get enough of trashing us. And now they are on our nuts. Its sick and I hope our team doesn’t start getting complacent.

I was watching BSPN pregame(I was at work) and Cris Carter
was of course picking the Eagles to win. He said if the Cowboys win then the Cowboy hype machine would be cranked back up. All i could think of was, “you freaking idiot, you are the freaking hype machine. You and the Bull$hit world wide loser of sports.” I was pissed. You overhype us when its not warranted. You crap on when we struggle. Then turn around and blame it all on us.
KICK ASS every day!!!
