Kick Vs. Recieve
It's no secret that we're a second half team especially with the D lately not being too stout at the end of the first half. I dont understand why we ever choose to recieve at the beginning of the game?
Obviously Madden isn't anywhere near the same haha but I always kick first. Romo has a knack for squeezing in a fg drive at the end of halfs and with that momentum coupled with getting the ball back at the 3rd is important for a second half team. Any thoughts?

I've always felt the same way.
It makes it easier to decise if you should push for a late 1st half score or not. if you know you get the ball 1st to open the 2nd half then you can either play it safe and burn the clock, or, try and get a score and then double it up with another one to open the 2nd half. Not only that, the offiense never seems to score on their 1st possesion anyhow, so the “get a quick lead” theory for taking the ball first doesn’t really enter into the equation.
I'm not sure either
If you remember, Wade always elected to kick to start the game off last year and that was before we had Buehler booming touchbacks.

Me either
Don’ you wish sometimes you had a “red phone” that went directly to the coaches office? I agree with Lafleur about remembering when we got points first….
