Chargers 38, Cowboys 34
I still can't see how our D stops the Chargers. We'll keep up -- but just not enough.
If we keep running MBIII early on and getting into 3rd and sixes, we're done.
Likewise, if we fail to use Choice and Jones early on, mixing them up, we're done. JJ gave both Wade and Jason and warning shot the other day. I happen to think JJ is right on target. Pretty sad when your owner is smarter than your coaches.
I don't trust our newly-shaky defense to deal with the weapons that SD has. That run by Brandon? Sheesh. Now think of what Sproles and LT will do to them.
If we can't win this game, we're done. Even if we DO make it to the post-season, it'll be over soon.
Just speaking my truth. As far as my predictions to date, it's all fine and good.
It;'ll be close, high-scoring -- and we'll come up just short. Again.

How is this a fanpost
just make it into a comment somewhere so everybody doesn’t have to read it.
The Knights season may have just ended, but the Cowboys year is just begining!
+1 (as an afterthought, I disagree)
To see an example of a Great FanPost… showing tremendous effort and consideration, see anything from One.Cool
:)
Doomsday returns... Wade Phillips style.
Mighty kind of you, Sir
Just put the final touches to next week’s 7 nuggets this morning – now I really need the Cowboys to win today, otherwise I’ll have to rework everything.

I love how
everyone is so critical of someone else’s posts. Just because he says he doesnt think we win doesnt mean he isnt a fan. He is just a fan that sees reality. And I appreciate his post and enjoyed reading it and, unfortunately I agree with his view of what will happen.
Its not that he is negative
but simply that the post is not substantial enough to warrant being posted here.

I have seen
way less substantial posts that no one has said anything about. I think a few of you wanna be’s can’t take it when someone says something you dont like. If you had it your way everyone would be posting professionally and would have the same opinion. Well guess what you don’t have to be professional and what you may consider unsubstantial someone else may think it has plenty of substance.
So it would be way more productive on your part to just keep your mouths shut about the importance and substance of someone else’s posts. If it were so beneath you, you shouldn’t waste your time reading it or commenting on it instead of raining on someone elses parade.
Thanks for teaching all us "wanna be's"
you have learn’t alot in your 4 days since you joined the blog

And you think
Just because you have been on here longer that your opinion is so much better. So far the only thing I have really seen from you is a smug attitude and a lot of nothing….
So thanks for a whole lotta nothing….
This is a waste of time

I am glad you finally realized
that you are wasting your time being wrong! See that was easy. Now I know you are a fan of Phillips. Ilk begets ilk and giving up is what we are used to from him and his ilk.
Whatever
but for the record I am not a fan of Phillips

No way our D sucks again today
after all the heat they are taking this week, I see our D playing fired up. They want to make up for letting the offense down last week and play tough for Wade against his old team.
Now, can the offense, defense and special teams all show up on the same day? I guess we’ll see.
A Win:Win Situation for Cowboy Fans
I agree with this post. We must win today or the confidence of the team will be shaken for the rest of the year, leading to probably 2 more losses.
I know that most Cowboy fans think we got a bad break by having so many tough games at the end of the season, but it is a win:win situation because the Owner/GM will see for the 2nd straight year what type of coaches he has. If the Rams, Lions and Browns were on the schedule this month, the current coaches would end the season looking like geniuses.
With the talent this team has, the final month will either expose the coaches or be the turning point the Boy’s need to make a run over the next few years.
Agreed
A win / win situation has been my approach to the entire season and especially this game. If the Cowboys win against a surging Chargers team (the national media has dubbed them the anti-Cowboys for their December record), then great, let’s get ready for NO! But if they lose in typical, heartbreaking December fashion, then we are closer to putting the Wade Phillips era in the rear view.
It is my sincere hope that Jerry didn’t waste another season only to find himself back where he was at the end of 2008—mired in the mediocrity of another 9 win season. But if he does find himself so situated, I think he institutes some real change this time around.

In Romo we Trust
I'll tell you how the Cowboys defense stops the Chargers
they get pressure on Rivers, it’s really that simple. Either we do or we don’t but I think we will.
Our pass rush usually rises the challenge when they have to, I think they will today.
I’ll be shocked if the Chargers score close to 38, I really will.

Great Post
Even though I agree with your prediction (actually I have the score a little less in our favor). More like 38-24. Either way its a loss, Right?
I hope we are both wrong.
Well I think we start to put an end to those December blues today.
By the tone of your post you would think we’re 4-8 and not actually 8-4. San Diego’s on a streak and they’re a strong team but I think at Home Dallas can get the win. It’s a big game that’s for sure.
Great Job, Nostradamos
Greetings from the Humungus, the Ruler of the Wasteland, the Ayatollah of Rock and Roll-A. I laugh at your puny plans.
We would have won if not for...
repeating the same actions and expecting different consequences…
So far we have learned that the kicker still sucks, running the same play over and over does nothing and our coaches still stink!
