Huge Drive

99 yards, but if we go on to win, it will seem like it was even longer.

Kudos to Garrett for keeping his composure and getting us back in the game.

Romo

can hit targets in the 4th, not fumble snaps etc

He is the QB, he is the leader of the D, he needs to step up

He need to win in playoffs, win last game last year, win the last game against Phil this year, win the opening of stadium etc

He being the leader of the Dallas offense need to play well in December and January not just Sept to November

And this has not been done in the last since Romo caame

QB’s either play well or they don’t play well. One or the other. You can guess which one contributes the most to winning. Right now Romo is playing well. He’s not the reason we’re losing.

With who do you even replace him with?

Crayton? Are you freaking serious? Plus, he has played pretty well these last few weeks. There is no way Crayton can make anything like that 30+ yard catch and run that Roy made earlier.

Special teams bad on last two kick returns, offense only scoring 10 points (SD not known for great defense), defense couldn’t get key stops late, FG kicking atrocious.

Put a “Kick me on the way out” sign on Garrett’s back and let him go right after game 16, JJ-he’s ridden the glory of the first 10 weeks of 2007 as far as he can go.

We tried him out in preseason. He’s got a good leg and didn’t miss a kick for us in 2 years of preseason work. Can’t get a touchback to save his life but that’s why you have Buehler. We picked Olindo Mare over him because Mare gets touchbacks and makes kicks.

I’d give him a try.

I don't think Romo was great

He’s lucky he wasn’t picked off at least 3-4 times this game. A lot of his passes seemed low. Otherwise he was good enough.

Garrett calling the same play 4 times at the 2 yard line is stupid from a neutral perspective.

Ware or no Ware (and I hope he’s okay) the defense got torn apart with clock-killing drives and if Wade is the man heading the defense then he’s got some work to do.

I still think Dallas can make the playoffs with a 9-7 record at a minimum.

I think it's more playcalling

How come they don’t take any deep shots? Even if it’s incomplete, just to keep the defense honest. When they don’t, defense just has to only cover about 20 yards past the line of scrimmage.

by Cowboy88 on Dec 13, 2009 6:36 PM CST reply actions

I think we can be a top 3 or 4 team in the nfc

just by making plays when they’re right in front of us. Making field goals. WR catching balls that are in their hands (Roy in GB game). Scoring on very short yardage. Not turning the ball over when you shouldn’t (Barber).

We do this, and I think wed be 11-2 right now.

While this team is incredible frustrating, and seems to find incredible ways to blow these games, they aren’t that far from an elite team. Beat Philly and washington to get to the playoffs, get hot, maybe have a first round home game against GB and go from there.

This team doesn’t look like its capable of beating NO or Arizona to me though.
