Bum Phillips boy Wade is no Bum, or is he? (wrote this Oct. 14 and still relevant)

PrintBum Phillips once said "The only discipline that lasts is self-discipline". This seems to be what our team, our ownership and our coaching staff are lacking. And it all seems to stem from Bums boy Wade.
We have been hearing over and over and over again about how we are going to improve and how all of the little kinks will work themselves out. Well, those kinks do not work themselves out, hard work HEART, and discipline are the only factors that can straighten a team like ours out. We have all the talent we need to win almost any game that we play. The only two teams we have lost to are currently undefeated but, in the same breath the teams we have beat have won only one out of 14 games.
As of yet we are still totally untested by an average team. We have been tested by the best (and have challenged them down to the last play) But we have lost to them! So when we get out there and we play Philly, and Green Bay then we will see where we actually stand.
So when we get down to brass tacks and really start comparing Wade to Bum with the numbers I just can't see much of a difference.
Bum finished his 11 year career as a coach at 82 and 77 or a .516 record, with only one division championship and 0 Super Bowls!
Now for Wades stats, and you have to remember that he took over a winning Cowboys team. Over the course of his 10 year career he has 73 wins to 51 losses or a .581 record, 1 division championship and 0 Super Bowls. With a over a third of his 73 wins coming from Dallas (25). I would like to credit the first 13-3 season to Bill Parcells and Shawn Payton!
So it really appears that there is no difference in the Phillips coaching ability and that Wade is really a "Bum".
Another quote Bum said was: "Winning is only half of it. Having fun is the other half." And I would like to add is that it really seems that we are doing neither the winning or the fun.
When will that change Jerry?

Hopefully next year we can have more optimism
But we need a new coaching staff to do that, right now the only coach that is secure IMO is DeCamillis

As far as points, is that both coaches are nothing above mediocre. As proved when looking at their records.
But hey you are so smart I didnt need to tell you that….

Thank you, I am trying to figure out why there are 3 or 4 guys on here that feel like they can bully people around because they dont like what they write. I understand that I dont write like a professional but, hey guess what this is a blog, NOT ESPN. Its all free and anyone is allowed to post, no matter what they write.
It’s funny that I finish school with a 3.8 (UTSA) but I can’t seem to write something that is coherent for these 3 or 4 guys.
Or maybe its just them huh?
I have to agree with this
To hold the Chargers to 20pts is good; before the game you would have likely taken that quickly. Considering the Cowboys really only scored 10 pts if you dont count their TD in garbage time; you have to give the offense its fair share of blame.

You only attacked you never gave a relevant and thoughtful
opinion about the post. You attack first you get attacked in return. Instead of just saying generic derogatory opinions you might want to learn some initial tact. I have noticed through your posts that you feel you are above everyone and that yours is the only opinion that matters.

Bum is obviously superior to Wade...
…the only thing that kept Bum from winning a SB was the 70’s Steelers.
Wade has the "D" playing pretty good.
The “O” getting stuffed is the story in this game.
