Barber Injured in practice...
Ha! Made ya look.
Marion Barber is not injured but honestly, I wish he would stub a toe or something in practice and get ruled out of the game this Saturday. It's apparent that Jason Garrett will run with Barber as the starter as long as he is on the team. He's making the money so he gets to play the majority of the running plays whether he is effective or not. That's cool if you want to make him feel better about struggling this year, I guess, but I am not concerned about his ego.
I'm concerned about winning games and the way he has been utilized does not give the Cowboys the best chance to win football games. He is not an every down back. There is only one back on the roster that is capable of being an every down back and he has shown it time and time again when the injuries start piling up. If Wade and Garrett would just get tape of this player in all his starts that he has with the orginization, they will find that there is a guy with a reputation for pounding even the toughest of defenses for both rushing and receiving yards. That guys name is Tashard Choice.
That's my rant. Spare me any comments about how much you love Barber. I don't care how much you love him or how you can skew the numbers. The fact of the matter is this: Barber is not the back that Garrett is trying to use him as. Plain and simple.

Oh, I like him, too.
He just doesn’t need to be starting games, he needs to be finishing them.
If they want to give him the first series so he can get the moniker of “starter” then I am okay with that, too. But let’s use those other backs that have been pretty solid, as well.
Choice getting 2 rushes a game is completely unacceptable, and Jason Garrett is a fool if he thinks that Barber is a better option.

I hate it when people do that
At least make it something good for us, like “Drew Brees breaks arm”…

If MB3 gets hurt, Felix will be the man, not Choice
although he should see more carries, but Felix will the majority.

Not cool at all.
How about instead of wishing that one of our OWN PLAYERS gets hurt, you wish that the coaching staff get their heads out of their collective rears and get the rotation correct?
Has the whole world gone crazy? Am I the only one around here who gives a s#!t about the rules?!?

Because that will never happen...
Besides, Barber is out of here next year anyway. He is costing way too much money to produce little-to-nothing game after game.
And Terry, I think if Barber went down (crosses fingers) then Felix and Choice will both see an increased loads. Garrett knows how to use two backs, he just has no idea how to use a third one.

Pretty lame, Milhouse.
Greetings from the Humungus, the Ruler of the Wasteland, the Ayatollah of Rock and Roll-A. I laugh at your puny plans.

The only time this staff will fully apreciate Choice...
…is when he’s running over their defense as a member of another team.

The NFC East has won 11 Super Bowls; oddly none of those have come courtesy of the Eagles.

Well lucky for us, this staff isn't going to be around long enough for Choice's contract to expire...

MB3 does deserve respect
Just because he’s not the MB3 we all wanted to see, doesn’t mean I would like to see him injured for Tashard to play. I love MB3. I’m the biggest Tashard Fan there is on this board.
Damn, Damnsammit! i know alot of people are frustrated, but you can’t be serious?
Maybe Garrett shocks you, and plays Tashard.

I said a stubbed toe... not a pulled hamstring
Just for the New Orleans game… because we need Tashard in this week.
I’m sure he will get 2-3 carries and maybe be in on a few passing plays, but I’d rather just sit MB3 and let him get rested for the divisional games when we could use a pounding back.
They need points in this game, not time of possession.

I won't argue with you there
If you only knew how many vehement arguments I’ve had with people over Tashard becoming the featured back in our offense. He is our best back I believe, and he always seems to make something out of nothing. Alot of people are in denial about it. I agree withyou 100% Damnsammit. I suggest you accept the denial alot of fans and the coaches have about Tashard, and read the post by Gee-Roj above. It totally applies to Tashard I believe.
